Uninstall it and wait for 10 days and try installing whatsapp after 10 days. I was facing the same issue. Its working now...this is the only solution.

Mera bhi same problem hua tha..maine whatsapp uninstall kiya and 10 days baad fir se install kiya and try kiya toh aagaya otp. Try krna.
Sirf ye h method kaan krega aur kuch nhi..baki sav method timepass h
