Putting books back on shelves or reorganizing them is so much fun! I have had TBR shelves for a few years and love it. It's like shopping for a new book at home. Hope you enjoy your next read as much as we enjoy your videos. 🤍☕📚
Your videos have been missed. I am so glad you are back 😀 Please do a house tour or a kitchen tour or a tea cupboard tour 😄😄 The book shelves look great! Its great how well the change has been for you and how you embraced it 😀
So happy to have you back, you are my ultimate comfort TH-camr 🥰 I’m glad things are more settled and you’ve fitted into your new house so well. The bookshelves look amazing and you’ve reminded me that I need to read a Lucy Clarke thriller asap!!
it makes the world of difference to get further out of the city a little bit and see nature out of the window! so glad it's all working out for you, lovely to see you back ❤️
You have been so missed! 🤗 I'm very pleased to hear that you're happily settled in your new house. I also loved Weyward. The Hike sounds wonderful! It is not being released in the US until the end of August, so I will have a longer wait, but I definitely want to read it. Thank you for the cosy vlog...it was worth the wait!
Honestly I think reading 4 books is impressive! It's so hard to find the time to read 2 books a week like a lot of Booktubers do. And there are times durring the year when you can read more, versus others when it's hard to get through even one. However much you read is great 💕
Thank you! I think a combination of booktubers reading crazy amounts, and lockdowns allowing for more reading the last couple of years, I’ve gotten some unrealistic reading expectations but this year just trying to go with the flow!
So glad for you!! It is wonderful to find a good fit for your living space. 😊 Also so happy to see you back!! And the snow! I’m a hiker and camper so The Hike sounds great for this summer.
Hi Ciara, Happy new home! So glad your back! I missed your uploads 😊 The Hike sounds like my kind of thriller. I will definitely be buying it especially after your review ☺️
So good to see you. I've thought of you guys and wondered how it was going. Glad to see your move was successful and what a gorgeous view! I'm moving in two weeks. I'm really looking forward to it and can't wait to unbox my books.
Hey Ciara - in a bit of a rush at the moment but intend to listen to this properly a little later today. Just wanted to pop in now to say hi, and wish you and Jay all the best in your new place.
Hey Ciara, appreciating the insights into S. King, bc. for the most part I agree with you that for him in his books character development of the hero overwhelms rendering of the evil force at work. He does so, even as his endings suffer for it - wherein we''re left with a unlikely victor emerging in an implausible and sometimes unsatisfactory fashion. On other fronts, I did try to attract the young gray cat about which I mentioned when last we chatted (it's been too long) but even prepared with a delicious treat there was no sighting until having given up it appeared again with a twin. I took that as a sign - tho I'm not 100% sure of what, and remain currently petless again. I think tho that you were right to encourage me to try, and perhaps another time I'll overcome the loss of my beloved Oliver.
Aw, sorry to hear you haven’t had any luck on the cat front yet! By the sounds of how much you loved Oliver, any cat would be lucky to have you and hopefully the right one finds you soon!
Quality over quantity! Always! Always! Page count is probably a better indicator than book count. Consider this: Would you rather read 5 books like "The End of Alice" at 200 pages or 1 "War and Peace" at 1000 pages? Reading is not a contest; I prefer Quality over Quantity! Would you rather read 1000 pages of books like "The End of Alice" or 1000 pages of books like "Anna Karenina" ? I'm jealous! I want space in my house so I can get shelves so I can unload my boxes of books.
Do you recomend living in England? If yes whats your favourite city? My boyfriend has brought up the idea of us moving there and i really dont know where i want to live. Thanks

@@ciarascorner Thank you!
I’m only on my fifth book for the year so don’t sweat it, enjoy your reading and enjoy at whatever pace you want ❤
Thank you! It’s funny because I’d never think someone else wasn’t reading enough, but when I look at my own progress I judge it harshly!
I've missed you!

You should read the Paris apartment by Lucy foley
I have! Not my favourite of her books but I did enjoy it!

It would be nice to see a home tour if you're up to it :)
