The thing this situation reminds me the most of is the S.Zoi x Dark Sarunan combo back in September 2016 where Sarunan could reach over 120M damage with a single nuke thanks to Zoi's s3 allowing you to exploit enmity to the max. It ended up forcing Cygames to introduce the global damage cap (before the cap was part of the skill, some had none) and later the bigger damage drop on off-element since Dark was still ravaging any content thanks to S.Zoi. Nothing was breaking in the combo, it was perfectly working within the mechanics and systems of the game, it's just that it was such a massive powercreep in such a short time that they had to find ways to "nerf" it without directly nerfing it. For me, here, it's the same, there's no bug triggering wrong calculations or anything, we are just witnessing the logical conclusion of the existing systems way earlier than anticipated so I doubt we'll see a direct nerf of any of the elements of that combo but I wouldn't be surprised if they introduce something new that will affect everyone but especially this combo.
Both the caduceus and yatima interactions they nerfed let you basically become immortal, it's not really comparible. Mjolnir just let's you do stuff you could already do faster.

I don't think there's that much wrong inherently with Mjolnir doing that for most content (Though, I have concerns for NM100-200 since you can do multiple of them at the same time now). But I do think this is gonna lead to more damage cap thresholds and/or skill lockout.
the issue lies a lot less with lockout and more that these 2017 ass setups are fucking aids and what initially nearly killed the game in the first place, for casual gaijins, this happening for like 2 days genuinely doesn't matter, however acting like the long-term health of the game is unimportant is a much more alarming thing to say. at the very least the dev team should revise this because it is the biggest design-wise blunder this game has had in ages and it will bleed the game dry if left unattended.

Honestly I wouldnt be too confident about this outcome being expected. The earth grid feels too accessible. If the endgame of gb farming is this then how are they going to sell more burst characters / weapons to people?
If they make a character that literally allows you to go a button faster people will be drooling all over it, also they can still catch up the other eles to fire/earth in pbhl and people who don't want to invest in fire or get earth mjolnir will invest in that instead
But how you explain why grand perci can click 1 button for reuseable tag team while raziel need to click 30 buttons for an one time use tag team and need qilin if you want to use it turn one.😂 how is that not balance issue. It is not even grand perci came out after raziel with updated kit.
The best explanation I've heard that I kinda agree with is because caim and double deal exists, I'd also say to a lesser extent lobelia being able to speed up the cd too and even now medusa being able to reset it completely if it was recastable, you'd just be able to do it too many times if it was recastable

Honestly I think you just go for your main ele unless you're planning to use something specific, it is a little hard to recommend fire/water atm since they have similar options already, same with light if we only talk about ex+ where light has futsu for that but earth/wind/dark are strong contenders but all eles have use cases and may be more useful in the future
honestly the amount of ex+ farming i did last gw was so much lower than my first one because of nm250 so even 1 shotting ex+ is not that big of a deal also i still don't have normal bubs but i did get 4 water bubs lol
Earth is the easier version since, like Zura said, you have sandal who can replace a Summer Bubs to allow you to crit anything and x3 Alex's Axe and x3 sieg's weapons can be farmed easily but if you want max damage, Wind seem to be the most promising with a Noire, Scathacha, S.Zoi, Shiki (because fervor) line up with various enemity weapons.
The funny thing about that GOHL bar set up, is it's not even that good. That's 2 buttons. That's not good in today's GOHL bar farming. The ideal set up is just 1 button. That extra button isn't that big a deal most of the time, but when the raid's really fire, the raid may be dead before you can finish pushing your 2 buttons. I learned this the hard way during the 1st alchemy event. If it's the best set up you can do at the time, it's acceptable, until you can move to 1 button. Really it was the water bros causing a stir in GOHL the last few days, not the hammer bros. I saw how half the room were the water bros lol. Usually it's all Rising Forcers. Edit: Actually, I didn't notice the 2nd button on the Mjolnir set up is just the atk button. Nevermind what I said, it's a good set up among the other ones.
