@lesslethal7774 ill be opening the LE soon to see if the screw adjustment is still present and whether the plug could be safety drilled/removed to gain access without disassembly.
Grimburg gets a lot more power, over 36 joules, out of the same 12g CO2 and an almost identical sized launcher to the LE. So it really does come down to regulating the CO2 usage and putting that power into fewer more powerful shots. The Gavle only has to send 5 rounds down the barrel. Right now we're seeing about 16 joules from the first several shots of the LE. If Byrna could get those up to mid 20s and deliver some 10-14 shots, it would be awesome in my book. Also... Got to give Byrna credit here. They are consistently delivering that power, and their CO2 regulators are fantastic. I like the idea of a tuning adjustment being brought back. Let the end user decide if they want 20+ joules and less shots, or 15 or so joules and more shots. If you're shooting pepper, you may only want 15 joules. It'll get the job done, but if you're shooting kinetics you'll want the added power for sure.
Spot-on suggestions. I agree that Byrna is listening and is a good consumer-oriented company. I'm not sure the Byrna LE will ever get more power though than it has right now but we can hope. I doubt you can push more air through the system at the smaller size while using a 12g CO2. It's all limited by the physics. They would need to create a bigger launcher (longer barrel, larger CO2) to get any significant power improvements out of it. With that said, they will be coming out with the Byrna CP (compact launcher) in 2024 using the same upgraded valve as the LE. However, if it is smaller in size I would expect a little less power but still more than the SD.
You could be right but I can’t stop thinking that if you can get up to 35 shots on a 12 gram C02 than Byrna may be restricting air flow on purpose and If turned up there is a possibility of lower shot count higher fps.
@@airgunnerreviews7888I was thinking about that too but watching LL4Dummies videos, I noticed the drop off is significant between shots. That leads me to believe they must not have a restriction on the air flow and I was wondering if there was a way to cause a smaller drop off
Like your suggestions overall, but have to agree with "lesslethalfordummies," about increasing the power to 25 joules, one seven shot mag at 400+ fps for all 7 shots!
@@lesslethalfordummies I've had the HD, converted it to an HDXL, now I have the LE and had Mercy Less Lethal install their 12g adapter and compensator. Each step along the way it becomes better and better. Now if we could only make it more concealable without decreasing its effectiveness, then you really would have something special.

Great improvement suggestions, I would also love to see some true glow sights. Wanted to tell you that when I watch your videos on my phone, it's a little harder to hear you these days. Everything works perfectly on the TV though. Hell I'm getting older. Maybe I need hearing aids. Keep up the great work brother!
I changed my front sight to a green true glow and I was going to change the front as well but the stock white actually shows up better so I didn’t! Maybe I will start wearing a microphone! Thanks for watching!!!
Agree with Airgunner and @gerardmcquade9102 I also like the idea of making the Byrna LE open up easier for the CO2 replacement. Also if the option to increase the Jules (power) would be awesome.
I would like to see the case handle on the opposite side so when you pick it up, the contents of the inner sleeve don't slide out. Also, make the inside of the case adjustable with inserts to tailor it to your specific needs. A moderator would be nice to practice in the backyard without concerning the neighbors. The issue with giving it more power though, is the ammo being used. Too much pressure and you will break the pepper ball inside the gun. They would have to redesign the ammo if they did that. This is a frequent occurrence in paintball.
I would like a 20 g Co2, byrna should make their own for the LE launcher and onwards. The TCR should have two 12g or one 20g Co2 capabilities somehow built in....Or have a velocity adjuster, byrn SD using 8g is very compact....why would you make it smaller? Byrna should make a desert eagle launcher that fits 2x 12g and 380fps velocity....Come on USA is supposed to be bigger and better😂
I would make it have about 17 shots to ensure the 14 are good. I would also try to make the pistol a little thinner all around and a slightly thinner grip so my niece can use it, and a model with out the rail so it doesn't chafe against me when I conceal it.. they could also think about making a very compact pistol in a smaller caliber like 50 or 43 . this way us security types could carry this concealed and people with different hand sizes could carry and use this.

Yes, if you plan on purchasing the compensator from Mercy Less Lethal you will also need to purchase and install their 12 gram C02 adapter. Less lethal for dummies has a very good video on how to do this but it does come with some risks!

I wouldn’t feel comfortable trying this on someone else’s Byrna I almost crapped my pants doing my own! Mercy Less Lethal used to offer this service perhaps reach out to them to see if they know of someone who is experienced

I like the byrna’s but im not confident in their ability to stop a threat. Some methhead could prob take 2 mags and not stop coming. Weve all seen the stories of meth heads taking 20+ bullets and still coming. It could be good for things like crowd or animal control but if a person is attacking me id rather throw some lead. Hopefully the byrna can make some improvements in the next few years giving me more faith in the product.

i like the idea of making it open up easier for the CO2 while also extending it all in one piece to get 12g CO2'S in instead of 8g

that scope is a bit overkill it will not be good in a home defence situation good luck getting a sight picture open sighs are way better
You’re right it is! I use my pistol for inside the home and the rifle also has a light/laser combo on the side picatinny rail.
Byrna LE, worst Joule/$ ratio in less lethal. But a step in the right direction.

That is a strong argument my friend, there is something to be said about 400 FPE stopping power!
If the kinetic rounds are used, perhaps. If the Max chemical rounds are used (OC+CS), even a methhead will experience adverse effects.
