    Your tip about building your composition from the main subject and then going back really liberated me. 😊

    This is genuinely one of the highest quality YT channels for landscape photographers out there. A verified treasure, Will. I visited NZ for the first time this year, and your photos are some of the few that really do the land justice in how breathtaking every moment is there.
    Thanks for the tips, and heres to getting out and getting better in the new year!

    Thanks Will - man that struck home the advice on stop overthinking stuff, get off the couch and get out there. Totally guilty as charged these last few weeks - expectations way too high etc etc etc. New Year, new attitude and a big thanks to the time and effort you put into the channel and your courses. Excellent video.

    I love the spontaneity of photography. Created my absolute favorite photo only a few months ago. A 4+minute exposure that I wouldn't have gotten if I had stayed in bed that morning. Was a last-minute thing to head out and attempt an ultra-long exposure. So happy I went out that morning 😁😁

    Thanks for all the knowledge you share with us! I invested quite a bit into equipment this year. Next year is time to refine my skills to start taking photos I am really proud of. And maybe recover some of the investment! All the best for you and your family!

    What is your process for naming your images?

    • @WilliamPatinoPhotography

      Hey mate. I just go on instinct. I guess influences just come from the experiences themselves, faith, emotion etc. thank you.

      @@WilliamPatinoPhotography It's interesting. I usually name my photos kore literally, such as "Model T in the Snow.' Your titles are more ethereal. Thanks.

    Just curious, did this one need f/16? The trees seem quite far away.

    • @WilliamPatinoPhotography
      @WilliamPatinoPhotography  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      It’s at 75mm and they’re about 20ft away, so not far enough to be sharp at a lower Fstop.
