It’s a niche park for enthusiasts to enjoy, and locals are super devoted and passionate about it. People really love this park and want it to succeed. When I introduce friends to the park, they either love it or hate it. I introduced it to a long time cedar point ride op on a cold day and they fell in love with it. I brought my other friend on a hot day in July and it was a bad time.
The whole Mardi gras section drives me nuts. Like... the tilted games building . The lack of trees behind joker. The random johnny rockets that has nothing to do w new orleans. The balloon ride replacing the gazebo and town square. Just plant trees forget about theming
The deepest lore reason/rumor I hear about SFGAm Batman having no wheel covers is that it makes maintenance/inspecting the wheels easier without spending the time putting the covers on and off. Good to see you're vibin. Had a pretty decent day at SFGAm last year and everything was well run. Riding Iron Gwazi a lot pretty much spoiled Goliath and I do agree SFGAm needs a new/refreshed kids area. Batman is in that club of "aged like wine B&Ms", Viper is sleeper good, and why doesn't SFGAM do a Holiwood Nights type event for Raging Bull?

@@ZeroCreditsRemaining yeah lol, each park kept a lot of the old stuff. You peeps expanded with SW territory and kept some old rides. While we kept things like the von roll, some theaters, and trees in Hometown that every other year try to kill someone. (yup that happened, massive infected tree crashed down on 2 people mid summer last year).

@@ZeroCreditsRemaining I’ve always thought that this park looked like the Kings Island of Six Flags, and Kings Island is by far my favorite Cedar Fair park for overall park experience. Sometimes I really wish I lived in the Midwest!
I really hope CGA gets something like Sky Stryker. Our current VP doesn't like thrill rides so that's not gonna happen, but they're great rides and the merger is coming. Plus Delerium suuuucks, forceless.

I had an amazing time marathoning Batman in October of 2022, and even when I wasn’t marathoning it I tried to ride it every chance I got. Me and my buddy Tyler were doing a Goliath marathon, and every time he took a bathroom break or got food, I was riding Batman. Later that night I got two night rides where it was running so fast, it was one of the only times I’ve ever felt dizzy after riding a roller coaster.
I feel like the wheel covers for Batman haven’t been put back on since they did the whole backwards train Six Flags did for all of their Batman clones. I need to head back here before my platinum pass goes away in 2025 with the merger.
Ride ops were a little better on Sunday. Still a lot one train operation, but they started adding trains later in the day. Got a lot of rides in with flashpass.
Is Great America your home park? It's mine and I've been disappointed with the state of the park the last few seasons. I hope they can make the park feel more... cared for. It's lost a lot of its shine, despite it having so many good coasters. Great vlog!
Yep, I’m a southern Wisconsinite and it’s closest to me! I’m torn, there’s been improvements but for every step forward they take at least another step back. :/
They could combine that whole trash can area with buccaneer and go carts and build a mack hyper. Move all the kids rides to the picnic grove as well. Underutilized space. Batman is not bottom of the barrel😢

Oooo good question. I’d start by implementing more costumes for employees and performances. They don’t do enough shows in southwest territory, even walking across a comedy show for kids with cowboys in it is cool. DC themed outfits for ride ops in DC area. Old times fairground type outfits in county fair. Orleans Place needs ride op uniforms too. Do away with blue polos or whatever they wear. Then I’d move forward with adding more theming from there. What would you do?

I also think they should add a Looney Tunes area to bring in that family friendly crowd the park needs rn. A small thing I'd add is a bull noise for raging bull for immersion. These things aren't much but I'd start there, I think the park really can benefit on theming on par with Knott's

I think it’s the most intense roller coaster in the park. I might be with you on that one, but I really love Maxx and Goliath too.

Batman doesn’t use wheel covers because maintenance is to lazy to take them off in the morning.
