Oh my God this video was incredibly timed. I got a quest for Christmas and I just so happened to be on the toilet at work looking for a video covering the quest specifically
If you're wondering if you're missing out on anything in the game by having "Streamlined" controls instead of Classic controls, here are the differences in what Classic allows you to do that Streamlined cannot: 1) A way to cycle bolt actions called "Slidebolting": Streamlined controls can only do something called "Quickbolting" , tutorial here th-cam.com/video/Sm8XqLTM_s8/w-d-xo.html 2) Spinning revolvers. :( Unfortunately streamlined controls do not allow us to spin our revolvers. And that's it! Personally, I think Streamlined is so much more intuitive to use for me that Classic that I'm willing to lose a couple cool points to not rotate my wheelie gats, but your mileage may vary here.
You will also be missing out on some of the detailed interactions with some pistols, meaning you can't pullback/release the hammer directly. Otherwise streamlined is certainly the easiest way to play especially for most of the VR Controllers out there. Index users and some WMR with both sticks and trackpad might have to make the choice between the two schemes, as both are viable. Great video, very concise. I tend to get lost in the minutiae of things.
I am most confused by the streamlined controls for lever actions. I'm not sure how to manually control the cocking handle without firing the gun first.

It was a couple days late for Christmas wooooops
This was a great tutorial, all others I found showed it using vive controllers, this was so helpful thanks

Good question! If you hold down the upper B button on your primary hand you can activate the lever without having fired it
