why wasnt THIS version put in Smash? its just the original but better and with more to it. and what an odd choice to use the original and NOT loop it properly as well...
Becuase this is a non canon game to recap all the games of those 10/11 years (like ttt1 but ttt1 was way better than ttt2 even tho it had less characters and story behind) so most of these songs are canon
@@wattuh i...im not even sure what you are trying to convey. if im parsing this correctly you are saying that, despite TTT2's opening theme was already in Smash, they wouldnt include non-canon game music in Smash? and if that is what you are saying then Castlevania Arcade music shouldnt be in Smash...

Probably for nostalgia, since JP population is older and more people remember the very original TTT with the PS2 and arcade over TTT2 on the PS4. I would argue this theme is better as usable battle music, but the original one sticks in the mind better precisely because it's so simple.
Ah, when Tekken had all the characters on launch and you didnt had to pay 19 bucks for every new character. (It was specially painfull to have to pay for the fucking Lei, like how the hell are classic characters locked behind pay? I hate that stupid pay trend on fighting games)
Well the problem is that nobody supported Tekken at all. Tag2 sold significantly low sales. T6 sold 3.5 mil, Tag2 only sold 1.5 million, T7 on the other hand has sold as of now, 7 million copies. Tag2 was beyond complicated and very broken, and prioritized combos over actual play, Tekken 7 though, as much as I hate the execution, definitely feels better and much more fulfilling to play. So, tldr, it's not Namco thats at fault. It's definitely the consumer.
