When dude said he was hitchhiking to the beach in 1970, that threw me for a loop. I was thinking he’s around 50 years old. He’s gotta be in his 60s if he was old enough to hitchhike to surf in 1970.
Do you guys kip off your back to your feet?? Was a gymnast through high school but learned kipping in karate. I agree 100% that the more sports in your youth, the better. Was a track star as weas a lifeguard. Sooo grateful! Ended up a pro-competative ballroom dancer. How crazy is that? At that level, believe me very cut throat! It was worse than face punches and wind knocked out of you. That lipstick pro level is all low blows and heels punching through your foot. Yup, almost got my ear ripped off, all whilst winning and smiling. All sports rock!❤
Did he talk about Gracie? Is that the "cheater"? Watched Gracie past winter. Is he just bigger or was it his signature move? He tells his best/favorite choke maneuver. Don't his competitors know that? Do they just shit when he gets them like he says is his best move? Such a awesome sport! No surprise that crossfit and ufc seem to attract the same breed... How old is too old to do ANY fight sport? I'm so obsessed and have a background a million years ago. I just love it and doctors don't know what to tell me. Obviously I do crossfit in old as shit category but I want to grapple more than anything! Please ANYONE advise!! I'm just an old alfa boss bitch but don't want to die getting knocked out.
Is this the guy 30+ years ago that was a "street fighter"??? The guy that won the 1st or 2nd "ultimate fighter"?? Holy balls, that I will never forget!
