      The problem with Evoto is that the time stamps is the one of the time of the retouch no the time of the shoot and it completely messes up galleries when you import into LR.

    Thank you for a wonderful review of these products. I purchased three of Retouch4Me products with mixed results. I've also used Anthropic's Portrait Pro for years, and like it very much. I've been tempted to also go with Evoto, but their 'credit' model is not very appealing. For one thing, the number of times you can export ends twelve months from the date of purchase - and if you have any remaining credits, they don't roll over. That isn't at all fair to the consumer. If you purchase 1200 credits, you should be able to use 1200 credits. keep up the good work!

      i have your software and love it i have 3 of the actions i bought out right to use and they work great and help me alot when batch editing photos after a shoot ...i hope you keep them for sale as is and not move them to a monthly thing ...i would rather pay each year for update to keep working then paymothly ...this is why alot of ppl leave photoshop cuz the monthly prices

      I prefer Retouch4Me. Evoto looked OVERprocessed. Retouch4Me is more subtle and natural IMO.

      @@MikeAnthonyPhotography Thank you for using our products. We do not plan to offer only a subscription model. Our plugins can still be purchased once and for all with free updates. The monthly subscription and packages in cloud retouching were launched for photographers who retouch a small number of photos per month or have a "weak" computer.

      @@glecas Are you basing your opinion on this video, or have you used both products? I can safely say that Evoto can produce more subtle/natural results by not pushing the sliders all the way.

    I tried Evoto for last week for a portrait shoot I did. I started by editing the photos in Lr and then exported then to Evoto. It saved me HOURS of work (I'm not really good at Ps)!!! And as I don't do a lot of photoshoots (so far) Evoto's licensing plan suits me really good! Try it guys if you didn't yet. You'll be blown away!!!

    If you go based on feature base Evoto below's retouch for me out of the water. Just simply having the ability to shoot tethered and have your look applied to the photos at the time of pulling the trigger is amazing. Obviously, there is some financial incentive provided by retouch for me, which probably flavor this video.

    I use both but in your demo Evoto smoked Retouch4Me. Both were set at maximum strength ad R4M came up short in skin cleaning and the Portrait volumes only ever looks good at 30% (max). But, Evoto does so much more and unlike R4M it is a one stop shop for adjusting lighting and retouching... Thanks for this demo 🙂

    Retouch for me is definitely better at studio / close up portraits. But when you have full body shots, Evoto does it better. Also the volumes plug-in in Retouch for me is kind of poor, just doesn't do it for me. Also work-flow in Evoto is better. Considering pricing modes, probably will stick to both depending on the need.

    Evoto's Stray Hair edit is huge, and would have been great to apply to that example image. Aside from that, I lean towards the Evoto edit -- even if I may dial it back a touch. It seems like BOTH need a better batch workflow, or ideally a hotfolder option. That would allow us to "auto-process" these edits on the fly. IMHO having to go through the Photoshop steps would be a huge time killer.

    also you can change how much the D & B does on retouch4me ...in the video you run it but didnt show the % of how the D&B would be used ...also the same for the portrait volume % you can change how much it makes it pop less or more and in this video when you ran it ,its to strong as is ...i turn portrait volume down to 35-50% cuz it starts at 100 and its to strong for most photos and will make it look to fake

    • @XtremeLinkProduction
      @XtremeLinkProduction 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I used both but Retouch4me works way better if used correctly depending on what you are retouching. Example you mentioned, the reviewer didn't use in this situation the software the best way. For birthmarks instead of setting it to just auto the reviewer should have followed retouch4me instructions first and run a skin mask first then the heal and properly set it to the correct size depending on the blemish or birthmark (there's a video on their page) or they could have adjusted the sensitivity slider instead of 100% and it would not have been removed.
