this is the ultimate sound machine you could have in your pocket… it remind me when i’m the 80’s everybody want a minox , à sharp 1251 with a micro printer or a micro sony tv. you should have fun with these desirable engineer dream. Yep it is very expensive but all dreams are.

Can you loop tx-6 and op1. So, out of tx-6 into op1 and out of op1 to tx-6 ? I ask wondering if tx-6 could be used as an fx processor for vocals…that into op1 to loop said vocals, and then that out back into tx-6 so that could go out into monitors or venue.
yes you can. its amazing frankly i was blown away when i stumbled upon this. you can have 2 separate "effects loops" and its possible because you can shunt any of the 6 inputs to any of the 2 "extra" outputs in any configuration at any gain level, so thereby eliminating an audio feedback loop. for example, what i do its guitar straight into tx6, effects loop 1 goes through my guitar pedals and effects loop 2 goes through the op1f, and then those 2 signals come back into the tx6, which i then send out via the "main" output stereo to 2 separate guitar amps. my partner will likely hang me soon but this audio oasis (however evanescent) it will have been worth it

I was someone that knocked the op-1 field for it’s price. Then I got one. Thought it was awesome but returned because of the price, couldn’t justify the price. Then I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Now I own it and I haven’t touched my baby in a month…. My baby being the mpc live 2.
Same here brother. I'm an MPC live 2 dedicated user but.... Haven't touched it in months since I got the OP-1 Field. It's just so addictive. It's absolutely amazing!
You have a lot of microphones
I bought a tx 6 new from TE on dec 6, arrived doa on the 12th took over a week to get a RMA then 4 days to ship back. They sent out a letter saying it was going to be shipped out soon. It has not been. It’s now the 27th with no end in sight. This is the kind of customer service you can expect when buying from teenage engineering. Buyer beware.

The TX-6 is so whack. You need two hands to do anything with it. And bluetooth MIDI to control apps and instruments? How about a mixing control surface to control the TX-6 lol. OP-1 Field is straight tho.
It doesn’t seem very inspiring for the price to be so high. It’s quirky and cool…but that’s worth $900 at best. $2000???? Nah
I hope you're being sarcastic saying that TX-6 is a "bargain" at $1,200. It's a GIANT PINAPPLE shoved up the hole only meant for things coming out of...

That kind of stuff is stupid. We can have way more inspiring and efficient software on iPad or MacBook and no need to pollute the world and spend energy for making dedicated devices. We should go for more virtual instruments if we want a sustainable future

Absolute piss taking company! Vastly overpriced! Teenage Engineering are 'The Emperors New Clothes' of musical instruments and equipment manufacturing and they are literally mocking their customers with their 'quirkiness'. For a company that makes audio equipment, the biggest piss take is that it doesn't even sound particularly good, it's alright but nothing groundbreaking. The original OP-1 was atrocious sound quality considering the price, noisy, mono output on a £700 synth, again, piss take! The Pocket Operators were good fun admittedly and at a price point that was reasonable but these two devices just not worth the money!
*Investing in crypto now should be in every wise individuals list, in some months time you'll be ecstatic with the decision you made today..*
