@@bonnome2 Back to the Roots is most definitely better. The way Labyrinths is weaved into this song is actually genius. This song has a much better flow to it, and the key it's in makes it pack more of a punch at the same time. Jake's work at his finest.
By far my favorite dungeon theme of the whole Shantae saga. I *LOVE* how it has not only the leitmotif from the very first dungeon of the first Shantae, but also the exact same 8-bit sounds. It makes me remember so so much my favorite dungeon of Shantae TwT
This hands down is one of my most favorite dungeon themes in Shantae and the Pirate's Curse due to the nostalgia, spooky remix, and original 8-bit notes that it contains.
This was the turning point for me where I realised I was playing a great game. Good dungeon design, great theme. feels like there is some mysterious lore there with Shantae's uncle's machine sitting there? There is something suss about that dude.

I don't know how these composers do it. There is always this musical aesthetic that they seem to grasp when it comes to dungeon themes that involve towers. Invokes the feeling of either wonder or intimidation when looking up towards the top.
