      +MLKKAEFEnterprises Even the child's Mother ship was a nod to the Fesarius of the first Federation as imagined from another universe.

    When he said, "Clearly this is no ordinary child" I was thinking, 'I'm not sure this is a child at all. Just because she looks like a child doesn't mean she is one."
    This was a another good episode. Thanks for all your hard work.

    The Last Child is the best Jeffrey Green episode, others are right up there but this one touches your heart, it did mine, watching it again after all this time is a thrill, chills tingle as the little girl materializes and cuteness, all business moves forward, the episode came together perfectly and very memorable, hard to believe it's been a 1Yr and 7 months the first time I watched this, 4 other times sense

    • @davemac2580
      @davemac2580 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is the only time Jeffrey has portrayed a role in a script I've written. Many others could have done a credible job and delivered the lines but Jeffrey has the ability to go far beyond that and delivered the feeling.
      There is some things only the writer can judge with an actors interpretation and Jeffery left me with goose bumps, it was like he was looking over my shoulder as I was writing it. Perhaps this runs in the family. If you flip over to The Hunt Jeffrey's son James has the same uncanny ability.

    • @Raggedymannn
      @Raggedymannn 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've seen The Hunt and loved it but why pass up another viewing by direction, thank you Dave for pointing out what I hadn't realized, James and all the actors did great and now I know Jeffreys son plays Star Trek to, so cool

    Randy, My friend, you have made an excellent eposide once more, it makes me want to see more of Captain Grigory, I am so glad that when I created Master Chief Mackenzie, my personal Star Trek RPG character, I chose Captain Grigory and the Potemkin as the ship that he cut his teeth on. I hope you will be able to work with Mr. Green once more, Potemkin will for sure be missed by all of us that have been touched by it.

      Mack as I call him is a human but he is evolving into something else, his back story is complex, I took the disembodied voice from Star Trek the Motion Picture that came after the transporter Malfunction and said "What we got back didn't last too long...fortunately" and made a human shuttlecraft pilot that was on the reliant and got a Ceti eel, when it was removed that is what triggered his evolution, very convoluted story but it's a roleplaying game character.

      It's a good point and I think if I dug way back to the initial script that's what happened.
      Still the magic of our awesome camera operator makes that bridge appear a lot larger than it really was and someone walking around without stepping on the crew would have been awkward at best.
      Honestly this is the beauty of zero budget fan films, everything is a trade off between creative work a rounds and tossing $$$$.$$$ at it.
      Thank you kindly for your support, it's important to us.

    Quick question,whendoes the series take place? About 40 or 50 years before TNG? Again, enjoying your work more and more with each episode!

    • @Potemkin1711
      @Potemkin1711  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +funzjag It takes place from 2296 until 2299 (four years). TNG is thought to have begun in 2364, some 65 years after Potemkin's fourth season.
