life in a stagnant trough ..
Summer's grassfields 'neath skies of silver blue,
Life dances wild in stagnant waters' view.
Nature's cycle spins, in light ever true,
Grassfields thrive under June's bright sunlit hue.
Blades and plumes undulate with graceful motion,
Leaves rustle crisp in the breeze's soft commotion.
A hush is broken by nature's soothing tune,
Insects buzzing, their frenetic dance in June.
Black beetles abound, pond skaters glide silently,
Horseflies circle round, in sun's warm rays they confide.
Mosquitoes join the fray, buzzing in gentle sway,
Nature's rhythm on display, in June's grand array.
Amidst this dance, time seems to suspend,
Summer’s play in June's diary penned.
