@@BigShaud101 I think at the time fox an most network stations never really gave shows a chance if it didn’t do well within the first couple episodes besides both Simpsons an Malcolm an the middle were both doing great an they probably figured why not just cancel this one

The DVD versions were different? What did they change?
@@HOTD108_ The music. This show came out right around when DVDs were starting to take off, and so there was probably some legal/financial reason they couldn't add certain songs to home releases (i.e. DVDs)
kinda sorta like how Spider-Man was property of both Sony and Marvel... and by that I mean there was a bunch of money nonsense that trumped creativity.
Andy deserves his own show.
Wish he'd get one. All those years as Conan's sidekick.
I thought he added a lot to the Conan O'Brien show too back during its BEST era in the mid-late 90s

Fox didn't seem to promote much of their stuff, outside of a handful of shows. Arrested Development was racking up nominations after just one season, but the Fox network was seemingly oblivious or indifferent, leading to no growth in the show's popularity or promotion

Is the title both a clue and deliberate misdirection (there is probably a single word for that), like to make people think "haha, that can't be true", while maybe it is?

andy richter is funny but he always works best as a supporting character with good lines and minimal screen time.

This show was all over the place, but had potential. Andy has a good narrator voice, but isn't a great actor.
I can see why this show was short-lived. Richter isn’t “leading man” material, even in a comedy. He’s much better in more minor, supporting roles, like in Arrested Development.
As a supporting actor he would've been brilliant.
