    My son was in the nicu for 83 days and I couldn’t have gotten through it without the nurses. They weren’t only there for him, they were there for my husband and I too. They were always trying to make sure I was taking care of myself and helping me through the emotional times.

    This semester I was fortunately blessed to experience the NICU before we were moved online. I literally fell in love as soon as I stepped in there 😭 of all four semester, I’ve never felt “ at home” on a unit before and that was it 💖 Graduation is this upcoming December and I’m hoping to secure a NICU residency as my first job, lol I will move out of state for it.

    I'm 12 years old and I never thought of what I wanted to be when I grow up, and if I have I never really think it's what I'll like and doesn't seem like something I will do. A couple of months ago though I started thinking of being a nicu/neonatal nurse and I still think I want to, thank you for explaining mostly everything they do, it seems really interesting :)

I call them my Miracle Babies! God is so great! My daughters have been growing so well and are healthy! I am also grateful to all the amazing and capable NICU nurses who took care of them! I am also grateful for all the Doctors, Residents and Specialists who were responsible for the care of my preemie Babies!

      🥺 aww thank you so much!! You don’t know how much that means to me 🤍 you can just google search the best nursing programs in the area you’re interested in going to college and I would choose based off of that and how comfortable you feel with the school. Definitely follow your heart! I would meet with a counselor (which I think you already do once you’re accepted) and to get into nursing school you need the required prereqs that everyone takes like English and math and then a couple of other science classes like anatomy and another required class for us was abnormal psychology but every school is different. I hope that helps! 🤍

    Hey guys! So many of you guys are saying a message is popping up that something went wrong and to retry. I'm so sorry I'm not sure why this is happening 😢. Someone in the comments said that if you fast forward the video a little it works perfectly fine!! Again I'm so sorry! It was my first video and I'm not exactly sure where I went wrong but hopefully this trick will work for you guys and thank you so much to the person for suggesting this hack! Thanks so much for watching! 💕
    thank you guys so much for 1,000 subscribers and almost 30,000 views!!! This is far beyond anything I could have imagined and I appreciate each and every one of you! Is the residency program required or mandatory for nurses who just got a BSN? Or is it more like an optional thing based on yourself if you choose to do it?

    • @TatiannaJ
      @TatiannaJ  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on your state and the hospital. Here just about every hospital requires the new nurses to enter a nurse residency program. Not every new nurse has to do one

    which is better shift, nights or dayshift?

    • @TatiannaJ
      @TatiannaJ  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It depends on the person. Some people are morning people so they hate night shift but I love it! It depends on your life and your body I guess. I don’t have kids or a husband so it’s easier for me if that makes sense 💕
