I have this one still in my mancave with my heman collection, only thing missing is 1 leg, plus i have the Hercules figure too, brings me great memories when i was alot younger
I had a bunch of these as a kid . i would buy them every time I'd go see my grandmother at the flea market she had a stand at the guy that sold these had every generic toy line from the 80's i loved his stand
Looking back, you could incorporate these figure into your MOTU rather easily. Just imagine Captain Morgan journeying into a world beneath Eternia. You could say he knew Queen Marlena at one point.
I remember my mom wanting me to get these toys because they were less than half the price of MOTU. We were on welfare, food stamps, and wic. I refused. I hated the whole "using my imagination" thing. That can be torture for a poor kid at times. Imagination wasn't going to make this toy He-Man. So, I would scrounge for spare change, worked as a kid model, and hid that money until I had enough for a MOTU. Ironic thing is I discovered Warlord several years ago and bought the whole comic collection for pennies on the dollar. Now I am fan. Amazing where life takes you. In retrospect, I wished I had these toys. I would have had so much fun merging mythologies.
I loved this Warlord figures when I was a kid. Even back then I knew that they were a separate toy line from Masters of the Universe but I incorporated them with my He-Man action figures. Speaking of broken Warlord legs, I know that Micheal from Toy Pollio would have no problem Figuring out a way to reattach a broken limb to the body. His toy repairs are amazing to watch and he is super creative when it comes to fixing broken toys. Very nice review and I look forward to seeing the next one!
Great video! I had and loved this figure as a kid. I did not realize this was a character from DC comics which is crazy because I collected those too. I have recently purchased a Warlord figure in great shape with all accessories in tact. Thank you for making this video 😎
I have the awa road warriosr ,2 pairs, I had the warlord for years but I don't know were it went, at one point I was moving a lot, but I like to have the warlord, arak, machiste, hercules, and conan from this series.
Loved Lost World comics, I was thrilled when the toy line came out. Yes I collected He Man, and yes Warlord got sucked into the MOTU continuity as did the Warrior Beasts.
He was lucky. I only saw the Warlord from a friend's Collection. My Parents would only buy the real deal Mattel toys. You know how I feel about rare variants.
Man what a great line to army build for all those HeMan collectors out there. This is official HeMan boot legs!!! They even had their own comic series! John you need to complete the whole series! Did they have playsets, vehicles Ect????
Seems that they advertised vehicles, but I can't say that I'd ever seen one. No playset to be found. These were compatible with Masters of the universe, so I'd imagine that Remco intended for kids to interact with Castle Greyskull and vehicles. Thanks for watching.
I liked the comic and I had the warlord and Hercules unbound both on card a few years ago both cost about a hundred and twenty bucks . probably cost more now .the art in the comics were awesome still have the Comics sold the figures .wish I didn't
Excellent figure, buy one recently, in very good condition, but it does not have cape, I made Photoshop using reference photos and printed it on vinyl, and it's very nice to expose, is a good way to have a great figure without spend a lot of money, greetings and if you can show more figures from this collection, thank you
I've got the 'warlord bug', I've seen advertisements for these in comics since I was way young. Recently I've been reading a run of the Warlord comics series. It's actually a quite nice series to revisit. There's add's for these all over it- I've got to have them. The sgt.Rock stuff looks dope af too. Kind of like adventure people. Thankx for uploading and sharing J.Wild, did you ever get any more of these?
@@johnwild8336 Welcome and yeah us kids who had a mix of AWA,Warlords, and Masters use to use them as wrestlers as well as the Rambo figures . I can't count how many classic battles i had with The Baron Vs Trautman. Also have you done a review on the 1985 Soma World Champion Wrestlers that would be cool if you did.
But I'm excited about these great toys. I try to use voice inflections to create excitement and not to annoy. I'll work on changing emphasis on the delivery of my line, but I'm not really an actor or spokesperson. Thanks for the constructive criticism. I appreciate honesty.
I have one comic book left of the warlord!! Love it.

Only thing missing is his signature sidearm.

Indeed. Thank You For Watching.
Man I love this guy! He's a must get!!!!!
Indeed. He is worthy to abide in the Toy Room of Insanity.

It's Funny How Fashion Changes Our Perspectives. Just Wasn't As Popular Back Then To Be A Remco Fan.
epic information on the Lost World of the Warlord By Remco toysand figure has cool details
Thank you for your support Matt.
I remember getting a Warlord before I got a Skeletor and I used him as a foil for He-Man until I got my Battle Damage Skeletor!
Awesome Comment.

I just may look at possible solutions to broken legs on Remco Warlord figures. Thanks for watching.

Just As Remco Asked Us To Do. Thanks for watching!
I had no idea that Warlord had any merchandise!
Interesting!
Remco seemed to have the DC license in 1982. Warlord and Sgt Rock graced the toy shelves. Thanks for watching.
i have to say this is the best review and video ive ever seen on these toys. Awesome job
Super video i totally enjoyed! 👍
Thank you.
You're welcome
My best friend from when I was a kid had all the figures from this line
He was lucky. I only saw the Warlord from a friend's Collection. My Parents would only buy the real deal Mattel toys. You know how I feel about rare variants.
That expression is Purest Grell. Dare I say it? (Yes I Do!) Grelled to Perfection.
LOL.

Very creative way to restore a classic action figure. Thanks for sharing.
They also made a Warlord figure an Demos for JLU from the cartoon series action figure line by Mattel a few years back lol
Sweet. I'll have to check that out.

Yes. I will share them soon on an upcoming video. Thanks for watching.
I love this line and to me it was on the same level as He-Man figures they also made great jobbers for the AWA figures as well.
Baron vs He Man? I dig that. Thanks for watching.

Well if he loses his sword he could at least gore you with his helmet wings!
Indeed. I know that I would have plucked them off for safety. Thanks for watching
He had a gun in the comic book
Stop yelling.
