(Before every Rock Concert ever) *guitarist says something to the drummer* *drummer appears to not be able to hear* It’s only assumed the guitarist repeats themselves *drummer rears back laughing* *clicks off first song* Never fails
People make weird faces when playing their instruments. Doesn't have to be drugs. I know lots of musicians who clench their jaw to the rhythm of what they're playing.
Aaron Smith it's just the over exaggeration of every beat and the ludicrous head shaking. I haven't listened to Beartooth's new album because I don't like the direction they've gone in, and he may very well be better than the previous, but I just can't stand the guy!
+Motherfungler no clue what you're talking about when you say over exaggeration. if anything he brings a bigger, tighter and tastier sound to Beartooth's live show. I see where you're coming from about his head shaking, but that's just how he plays dude. he does this shit for a living, so why not go as hard as you possibly can at every show like it's your last? he was also a student of Aaron Gillespie's for a bit so that's partially where he gets his style and presence from
Unless you're endorsed too, I strongly recommend not to do that. And if you want to actually hear the real tone of your drums and cymbals and not just the attack, and have some dynamic in your playing style I also strongly advise against playing like that
Idk. Maybe I'm biased, but to me, THIS is what drumming is about. EMOTION and PASSION. Those are the things I always loved about Aaron and he obviously influenced Connor. Good to see.
As a drummer I have to point out 2 things... He starts a show with used, ragged sticks...badass... He hit the the hi-hat on the beat when he...from standing entered seating position...thats pretty impessive :P
It's crazy to think that I watched a video of this dude taking lessons with Aaron Gillespie years ago and now he's touring with Beartooth and he's toured with Being As An Ocean. It's awesome.
Im using a 18" Zildjian Z as my main crash, using it for a month now and I hit pretty much as connor does. Today is my 4th stick pair for a month and my cymbal doesnt have any cracks! Zildjian puts a lot of effort on durability even if its only a Z series. Also, I'm using 5B vic firth american classic sticks
True but also not cause I think a spit on that floor could easily dry but You're damn right, there is a lot of hard work behind that,SO FUCK,I WOULD NEVER
It looks like he uses Zildjian, their new slogan should be "our cymbals can survive a beartooth set don't worry about busting them"
eloy
DaleE988 this is so true! It’s funny because I was once in a band and they threatened to kick me out because I hit the drums too hard!!
first of all, beartooth is not that fucking heavy, sir.
@@guardofmartyrs Just saying how Connor hit his cymbal.
Зинки ))
Things that I dont want to be:
-A drug dealer
-A homeless
-The drums of Connor Devis
Yeah the stability of this rig is solid haha
Or just, the dealer of Connor Devis 🤣
a homeless
Or the sticks
Edited and still cant spell his name right. Smh idiot.
4:53 when someone tells me im playing the drums too loud
Just bash em even harder just to piss em off
HAAAAAAAAAAAAA! =D
lol
Truee
Fucking idiot! Shit technique. Hitting it harder, like it’s going to get louder. Dumbass 🤦🏻♂️
2:46 That slick cymbal choke.
Can we all just take a moment and appreciate how damn tight this is. Any of this dudes live takes are near studio quality
you should see me at work...
This is the greatest testament on the internet for Zildjian’s durability.
Sea Kay I was about, he must be trying to break that shit 😂😂
WhoDarestheMAN gamer Personal preference.
5:07 idk why i love that so much.

Never fails
Guitarist: Let's do it Bobby
Drummer: I'm ready friend
I literally laughed out loud.
NGL I do this before shows all the time lol
Bro if this interaction doesn’t happen before a set, I’m not sure I’m at the right show!
This guy's jamming face is amazing.
Best thing to happen to this band, in my opinion. Connor rules!
But Brandon was also very good. They just have very different styles
Sirai You can't tell on the albums. Caleb writes and records everything
+Sirai eh Brandon was okay. Couldn't stand his opinion on how many drums one should have though. You need more than one cymbal and one tom.
I like him wayyyy more
this right here is pure passion
Floerebroed no lol it's called " I replace my cymbals and heads every 10 minutes
Cocaine, the way he moves his jaw is very suspicious

StAnLiXoNfIrE Conor does not do fucking cocaine.
This right here is pure pop shit
Holy. This guy is a fucking monster.
Savage player!
This makes me want to play drums. Unbelievable performance!
So play drum if you want! It is awesome as a drummer!
I love the energy that comes within Connor. He loves his job
what the fuck @3:51
This is why I prefer the previous drummer.
+Motherfungler straight up?
Connor is without a doubt 10 times better than the previous

Aaron Smith Fair enough man. I guess I'm being cynical of him. I've yet to see them since their new release so will judge then
this is how a drummer should do..That energy. the feelsssssssss
Unless you're endorsed too, I strongly recommend not to do that. And if you want to actually hear the real tone of your drums and cymbals and not just the attack, and have some dynamic in your playing style I also strongly advise against playing like that
@theguy4361 Yea but he's a groovy Rockstar. Idk who you are bro.
I always come back to this one! Pure greatness!

Beartooth: Pure Metalcore
Beartooths Members:
Wholesome kinda „the typical suburb Dad“ type of guys
Johnny Boy in the coolest possible way though
*every single member of every single hardcore band ever
4:55 - when you headbanging so hard you need to steady yourself against something
love seeing drummers play like this if i see that while in the crowd it gets me pumped up
Insanely awesome :)
What a freaking ripper. Hard rock.
When he breaks a drumstick half way through the first song. Lol
He learned from Aaron Gillespie!
And it really shows! Their playing styles are so similar.
+Sirai couldnt agree more! dude learned a lot then came out, killing it! and now is in one of the biggest bands
He falls in for the band, I don't think he's a permanent member. He's one of my favorites though!
i read somewhere he said he officially joined the band in august
ashtrash yessss!

I don't know what snare he's using, but I want one.
I live for that fill sequence at 5:04
Holy shit I was at this show. The memories 😭
It's crazy to think that I watched a video of this dude taking lessons with Aaron Gillespie years ago and now he's touring with Beartooth and he's toured with Being As An Ocean. It's awesome.
