From the very beginning I never doubted the sincerity and being nationalistic of Sen. Sonny and the Magdalos'. In 2003 they mutineed in protest against the then GMA admin for alleged corruption (which later was proven to be true). The Magdalos' were all incarcerated including Lt Sergeant Trillanes. He was incarcerated for 7 yrs. Later he and the Magdalos' were granted amnesty. He was still then in prison when he filed his candidacy as Senator (which he eventually won) but he never wavered of his fight against corruption. He never wavered to fight for good governance even risking his and his family's life and safety for his cause and advocacy and as a result of it he earned the ire of some of his fellow senators and their followers who were not nationalistic enough and selfish who does not care about corruption because of their own vested interests. He was left all alone in his fight. Nobody wants to be associated with him. He was like a "leper" to them. Again he never wavered, but was consistent. An ordinary man could just crumbled and vanished to oblivion against the powers that be. He kept on with his advocacy and slowly his efforts are getting brighter with the nationalistic citizenry gauging the effect of corruption on the entire nation. People now are more aware of how the taxpayers money goes. Was it spent wisely or purposively for what it was intended. These are only a few among those questions on their minds. Sen. Sonny has contributed a lot in bringing awareness of corruption to the Filipino citizenry. I believe we need some or most if not all of his kind in the Senate. Pls vote for Sen. Sonny for Senator, VP Leni for President Sen Kiko for VP and all the candidates of Team Leni for good governance and a healthy, peace✌️ful, prosperous Philippines and God 🙏oving and God fearing Filipino leaders.
