Rebuilding my ‘79 z50 for my son currently, did you have to order a chain cover for it or did you already have one? I’m not having any luck finding one myself
The guard I installed on this bike is not correct for its model year. But, any of the soft tail Z50’s from the K3 thru the 80’s used the same shape guard. Some were black, some were chrome, etc. Anyway, I have a few of the earlier model guards, so I put one of those on it.
Know I know what the scrapyard bike you did for me is going to look like with gold wheels……Doing a rebuild this winter as a project

Hey man! What colour did u out in the bike?? I never caught it in video maybe u said it! Restoring a 83 but having a hell of a time getting a local shop to find the mix for the R-120
This was just rattle canned. Rustoleum 2X Apple Red.

@@MiniBikeMike wow! Hah actually re watched a few of the z videos and found where u explained that Mike! Actually turned out smooth!! Pretty darn close to the stock blaze red on my 83!
@@MiniBikeMike did u use primer before and cleared it mike??
I did rattle can some gray primer on it. I also sprayed it with Rustoleum 2x Clear, but it is NOT fuel resistant.
