I’m a platinum, light grey, with strands of strawberry blonde.
My crown has thinned to the point that my scalp is obvious. Which causes me to feel lacking in self confidence.

I'm about a year into my wig wearing journey and I just bought the Ellen Wille Dance. I REALLY wanted Esprit but Dance was the same legnth of my bio hair so I took a chance. Boy am I glad I did! Esprit is next!!
I have Esprit in champagne rooted and it is beautiful and probably the most comfortable cap I've worn. I also love that it has an extended nape because I do pull it back. However, because the price point is so high it should have a 100% hand tied cap.
Isn’t it so comfortable and light?! Yes, the price is a bit high 🥴 fully hand tied cap would make a bit more sense. But still- it doesn’t sway me away lol 🙊

Awww…take your time. Best way to start is with a wig that is similar to your own in style and color, so it won’t be a shock when you put it on. 😊
Amanda is right! I have been wearing wigs for over six years, and for me it still is a work in progress. The options for wigs are endless now. Chiquel has the option of a virtual consultation. I am hoping that they will have a virtual try-on available on their website soon. Good luck😊

You are so good at this. I learn so much. Currently, I have a halo 2 months old which I'm trying to maintain. I wear my wigs 12 hours a day and I wear fleeces and Jackets because I get cold from chemo. This with looks like a good length to avoid the snarling at the back of the neck. I have another quality wig but the volume on top makes it look wiggly quickly when I'm active running with the dogs. I share these challenges in case it gives you even more criteria on your wig reviews or wig tips videos

This is the 3rd Ellen Willie I’ve bought thanks to your wonderful reviews …it is my first hand tied so I can wait, my go to colour is normally light bernstien rooted so this caramel rooted has me excited to try my first lighter blonde colour ..I can’t wait!!! I have a few wigs that due to wrong colour for me I’ve never worn so virtually brand new I’m in Australia and would love to know what to do with them I keep the tags now but I don’t when I first started which was only last year. They are just sitting there in their boxes (all current styles)❤

I have 2 Esprit in Bernstein rooted. I bought the second one because the style is as comfortable as Jon Renau Lite wigs. I would like to order it in the Caramel Rooted but have been afraid it would be too gold. Do you feel like the color is a fairly accurate representation on your video? I wish Ellen Wille would add more light stands in the front. I would prefer less visible nots in the lace front. Thanks for all your fun videos!
You’re so welcome! I agree about adding lighter pieces in the front. ❤ and yes- I would say this is pretty accurate. It’s a little bit golden but cooled down with some subtle platinum highlights ❤

Hi Amanda, Thanks for the review. I just got this wig in the mail today in Espresso rooted. I've been watching videos for styling tips. I Caught it on clearance. And I can just about pull the color off.. Like I'm a cousin of a vampire... But wow, I put a little it stays on the lace and I've been running around all day and it looks and feels wonderful. I love it!

Thank you I’ve got this one on the way ..Ellen Willie is my favourite it’s a trust thing, I made a lot of mistakes when I first started I went too dark also bought toppers when I didn’t have a clue what I was doing I need light density no permatease if I can help it …I found that this is is difficult or expensive to find in other brands I’m sure there are lots but I’m too scared to risk it.
Yes, EW are typically very low density and natural looking.

I have a lot to learn about wigs before I purchase - I was watching another one of your videos and I heard you say that wigs with perma tease are not as breathable - and may feel hot on your head (this is something that I don't want). I want a wig that is dense (I think that is what I am looking for) - something that I can wear down and put in a ponytail if I wanted to.

Cute wig, love my Blues by EW. I am always concern that extended lace will scratch on top of my ears since I have a small face width to the point I am limited to finding eyeglasses. Most eyeglasses are too wide on my face.

Hey Amanda, I'm new here. I have discoid Lupus which affects my hair I'm pretty much bald on the top of my head. Anyway in just a short time I have learned so much from you! I had no idea about mono, lace fronts rooted wigs. Also do ypu have any advice for me ,I have a flat head and wigs just seem to fall off my head in the back. I've tried a few but my measurements are a petite size also because of my flat head. Thank you Amanda!

Yes! Permatease is like built in volume in a wig. It's almost like backcombing on your own natural hair to create more lift. But its permanent.

Hi Amanda. I was wondering if you think this cap would fit someone with a 20" circumference? Most of all do you think this wig is less bulky than January? I've been watching your videos religiously trying to find a wig that might fit me. I was recently diagnosed with Alopecia and my hair is going away super fast. I have bought 2 wigs in the last month after watching your reviews, one was JR January the other I can't even remember the name but I'm not able to wear them because they are really puffy on me they just look huge and terrible.
Esprit is less dense than January. But it is an average fitting wig, so it may be a little big on you. Look at Ellen Wille Nola, it’s a petite/average fit.
I'm prayingmy daughter can get to this point if need be.

I bought this week basically because of you and it does not look anything like the one you have on.
I'm so disappointed I but 3 wings and this is the one. I kept and I tried to send it back and it wouldn't take it so now I have almost a $1000 worth of weeks that I'm not. Wearing all weeks look good on you. That's wonderful but just want ISIS that looks like there's so much chair on my Crown and it's all falls into my face I'm so. Disappointed I think I went about this all the wrong way.
I think I want a Bob Lowe density and something I can use heat on so I'm on the search.

Unfiltered is more dense. Has permatease. Is heat friendly. Has a wefted cap. And is a bit shorter. But similar idea of style in terms of the messy wave look. ❤
