As another small creator, I feel the same as this "Panda" creator. There is just this thing where the stricter your background is, the more you want to do something that is not encouraged. I know it is not good and not that I want to blame it but it's just human nature. Just like her, I don't have anyone who may actually know everything about me as the moment I am in my cyber life, I am just a different persona. Like even my personality virtually and physically are two different things. My name isnt actually Jane irl ofc for privacy reasons. I also love editing but the problem is that it's taking so much time that I actually failed one of my science subjects for the first time. As a result, my parents just confiscated my phone and I think that it is good to resist the tempts to edit but I honestly miss the dopamine and the endorphins when I edit. I think those who enjoy editing can kind of agree to this when i say that editing just hits different from other forms of art. It's like you are able to go full on creativity and do whatever you like to create different kinds of visuals and sync it with the audio that makes it even more exciting. I feel bad for everyone who risked their trust with their families and their time to do the things they like in secret just because such activities are not what parents favour or are interested in. 😞
I can agree but luckily I never failed YET so yh I do understand

I’m freinds with panda I was devastated when I found out that she had quit but I’m still in contact with her on roblox. If you feel unmotivated then you need to find something that will make you motivated like my mum said if I tidy my room and it is clean all week she will let me and my friend have a sleepover and when I heard that I went straight to cleaning my room because I was motivated to do it for the sleepover. It’s like edit comps if you join it and win your promised a prize.

reason 2 is why my best friend quit...
I might quit cuz of reason 3 because, I always see videos that are just spamming effects no effort put. and they get so much support and like 10k likes. But when i put a lot of effort in my edits like ghost effects flashes velocity it gets like 16 likes. im not trying to sound ungrateful but my recent vids have been only getting 2 likes. Especially people who use templates get a ton of attention for stealing videos. So yeahhh im not really motivated either cause whenever i think i wanna upload im just like "ill do it later" and never end up doing it.
