It was a horrible experience from the other side. My team dove straight for that C4 trench and I had no chance of keeping up, that's why I was out on my own trying to poke. I managed to trade with the Piranha that came to eat me at least. That one airstrike I dropped caused more damage than some of my teammates...
Oooh, my very first non-trial mech in MWO, and more or less my first build, too, except I ran UAC20, quad MPL and no JJ. It's quite fun indeed, although you feel lack of jam chance quirk very acutely due to how often you go in to take someone down and your UAC jams after the first shot.
@Baradul In a state of sleep deprivation, I have a build for you to try. King Crab 0000 2xmrm 20, 3 er ppc. 300 engine, then ammo, heat sinks, and go! :D
Trees/shrubs like those wouldn't block your shots in real life, but they almost certainly would deflect the projectile enough that it'd probably miss your target. There was a neat video from the Slow Mo Guys where they fired a 305mm Russian Artillery piece into a line of watermelons and the shot got deflected enough that it only destroyed a couple of them before veering off wildly enough to miss the rest.
Then why is the most powerful build Dual UAC10 & UAC5s on the MK2? I get what you are saying and the sudden loss of firepower is very jarring, but on balance, the UACs still pour out way more damage in burst than any other AC.

You sure it was a 305mm? That's no normal arty piece, that's a naval gun.
@@proximacentauri3627 You're right, my memory for numbers is absolutely terrible. The gun in question was a D20 - which is a 152 mm gun.

"Don't rotate" Bad habit that's been adapted in MWO, not a tactic...leaving your slower mechs to get shot in the back...anyway.. Cheers!!
I run UAC20 and 4xML on my 3R, and I love it.

Why not run an LBX20 and make the lasers ER? run this on the BH variant and it wrecks
BH is also my favourite MAD Chasssis....even with the engine cap. Quirkwise I would recommend classic AC20 and Large Pulse 🤘
