I would love to live in surroundings like that. Very simple house and I love that it’s one floor. You don’t have to climb stairs in your old age. Wait, when it’s monsoon, how do u go to the bathroom if it’s raining all day? For me, the kitchen has to be attached to the house especially when it’s raining, I don’t want to get wet running back and forth from house to kitchen, getting wet.
She never opened her mouth about Elephant visits during their 18 months of stay and I am sure 6-7 times they would have encounted Elephant herds which would have seen Banana trees which they are fond of. Life time risks only, during summer and Elephant needs tons of water and the near by stream will go dry and they would enter the housing area for sure.... One good solution, keep 5-6 Kombai, Kanni or Chippiparai dogs which are hunting dogs which the elephats generally avoid coming near due to their Irritating barkings.
