What’s funny is that I didn’t find that rune until after I finished the dlc and when I was fighting Radahn I got the Heart Stolen screen right as my mimic finished Radahn with Impenetrable Thorns and so I thought that “Heart Stolen” was actually the unique way of the the game saying “Boss Defeated” like how with the Elden Beast it was “God Slain” 😂
I don't know if you noticed but it says God slain when you kill Miquella and Radahn. So that means Miquella just ascended to godhood when he comes out of the gate of divinity during the phase 2 cutscene.

We are the elden lord pretty much. I think the reason they have you need to beat both Rhadan and Mohg before getting there is to establish you're already a bad ass. Killing two demi-gods (technically 3 with Messmer)
Actually, this Radahn here uses Mohg's body and Radahn's soul. That's why you need to kill both. In Mohg's case, also because he's literally blocking the entrance and won't leave without a fight.
@@Kermit3.0 he grabs you the second time and your hearts gets stolen (insta death). Sorry if I didn't include in the video. I died before I could even reached that point lmao.
You know... this gimmick is kind of redundant, though. Since the grab is the easiest move to dodge, and massively punish. Hell, even if I got grabbed by it. I'd MUCH rather try to punish with an attack afterward. (And if a summon gets caught in the grab. You can do MASSIVE damage when they put their victim down.)
I had to watch a guide of someone laying out the plant's attacks. The first time I got it to phase 3, I started wondering if I was doing something wrong, cause that's the first boss to have 3 phases. I wasn't expecting phase 2, and certainly wasn't ready for phase 3.
@@R0gueM I beat it twice and I'm on NG+ 2 rn. Looking back, the Avatar is a bit easy. The attacks are mostly easy to dodge besides of course the massive AoE bullshit in phase 3. It just moves too damn fast and it's hard to get up close to it to deal damage. Honestly I just stuck with the same strategy I use to beat Consort Radahn and just aim for the plant's head. 3 phases is far too much for an optional boss imo.
Bruh i never got charmed by miquella i always got 1 shot or 2 shot before he could do that shit, so i made the perfumer build and 4 hit them after like 25 tries and him 1 shotting me on ng+3
My uncle in his 50’s loves Elden ring and when he fought radahn he was asking why he was kissing him. I told him the only way you can defend that is you have to kiss him back 😂
Use heavy armor, damage negation talismans, and buffs to make Mimic tank. Use healing spells to heal him or use blasphemous blade or Malenia's Great rune to make him heal on every hit
@@excalibur2596 the mimic actually uses the healing incant surprisingly. I also equipped the Marika's blessing since the mimic uses it to heal as well. I never really got used to using heavy builds but I managed to clear him anyways.
