That's a nice Barlow. I didn't know that Buck made anything like that! I like the 2 bladed Barlows more than single bladed ones. I am glad that you are still enjoying the wallet! I have been carrying mine for over a year now and love it even more than when I first made it!
That’s what happens when you have a truck, Pete!!! I can’t help but think when me and my buddy were in Houston Texas he bought his first truck. I think we were like 22 years old. We just got in the elevator construction trade making more money than ever seen before in our life.,,, anyways he bought a very impressive three-quarter ton Chevy with the lights on top… Very impressive with the large 16 inch wheels( back then that was something) he always waxed it, including the bed,,, he never hauled anything in the bed. Anyways, he told me a story of one day he was in church . And the priest asked him about hauling some gravel in the back of his truck.,,, he was speechless and then he stuttered out the words: he didn’t haul anything in his truck… I told him he should’ve said : except ass. Ha ha … RIP Jerry ; we had a lot of laughs together ! Boy Scouts , grade school ,, raisin daughters … it was great to have a good friend all those years … too young to go at 55.😢
Sorry Pete , my memory I ain’t what it use to be .. some time ago I thought I saw you in the garage on a utube video with a truck in the back ground.@@jerseyknifeguy6382
Man, that is a great one there brother!! You just don't find those everyday!! Here is some info i found on a Blade Forum- Barlows with Buck stampings are the discontinued contracted product of Camillus Knife, contracted by Buck for an special order for a past Smokey Mountain Knife Works exclusive sale. They are model numbered 331 and 332. They come in two sizes, large and small. They are not marked with the model number or date code. The smalls are supplied in in black and yellow sawcut scale. The large, labeled 'Granddaddy Barlows", come in three versions: black sawcut, yellow sawcut and brown jigged bone. Now you need to hunt down the 331 Granddaddy brother, have fun moving that dresser!!!
Thanks so much Jerry that was a huge help I really appreciate that…… yeah I sure will keep an eye out for the granddaddy Barlow for sure stay well thanks again!!!!!😊
Buck made a single blade grand daddy Barlow and a two blade Barlow . Smokey mountain knife works years ago( in the 90’s) sold them . The buck barlows were made by Camillus . I used to have both styles but traded them years ago.
Those bucks are pretty rare I have a the yellow in a signal blade granddaddy barlow . From the mid 90s I believe. has half stops and some of the best walk and talk in my whole collection, feels like it’s on bearings .
I got a PM3 in Maxamet I love it also and it takes a beautiful patina. I've seen those BUCK barlows but I'm not paying 200 dollars for them. I believe they only made 1,500 of those in black. I've also seen the yellow ones. They also have a Grandaddy Barlow also.
Never seen a Buck Barlow before, really cool 😎
