Guys I think you are missing the point. The REAL mystery is who is John Sugar...whether the Olivia story is integral to this question or not remains to be seen. It may very well be that this is all playing out in Sugar's mind and that Olivia actually IS Djen or represents her in a fantasy world he created is a possibility.
My guess is that Sugar suffers from PTSD and that none of what we seen is really happening. I suspect that henis revisiting events that caused him to disconnect or disassociate with reality and, perhaps he is receiving treatment from Ruby and Vickers that is designed for him to simply observe and make peace with his demons. Sugar however is attempting to "fix" his mistakes as he did with Carl.
