This is so relatable from both sides. Any friends should be able to talk like this. Andy and Lindsay CLEARLY are close and are able to speak freely. In my opinion, nobody is wrong, AND both are right.
Woman here & I totally agree with Andy! Andrei Rublev not only puts up with all the roasting he gets over his music involvement. Lindsay has no reason to have been mad at Andy. If anyone, Lindsay should have been upset with herself for not having given Emma the info she needed before the event whatever it was. When people do embarrassing things on video, they have to expect to get razzed. That’s life. Andy, you did nothing wrong!
gotta side with andy here... the rap is designed to be a source of humor / self-deprecating moment... and should be expected to draw light-hearted criticism... lindsay - love her - but she is being a little "selectively serious" about andy's comments... i don't think emma would even be bothered by what andy said... surely she knew her rap was shit but funny at the same time... the whole thing is overwraught. everyone should just relax and laugh about it. lindsay could have come out of the situation way cooler had she spun the whole thing like "yea i left emma in the dark until the last second so it would be even more awkward and funny" but instead she kinda went serious about it which isn't really the vibe here.
Intent vs impact. If you care about them, what you meant isn't always going to matter as much as how it landed. Glad everyone's still friends. Lindsay was/is a favorite 💓
Davenport: Nothing you said was wrong, it was the demeanor you showed Roddick: (Like every guy in the world) What do you mean the demeanor? I didn’t say anything bad lol, “I gave a sigh” - What does that mean? Lol
Agree with Lindsey here. I love you both, I grew up watching you, but in this case I would say that Lindsey won the match, quite balanced. 3 sets :)) Andy is right somewhere, but his reaction is too defensive. When Lindsey said that Navarro is a shy person and somehow found the courage to do that, Andy could have understood that his reaction was not necessarily the most appropriate, from Navarro's perspective, not his, and a few apologies would have been ideal, in this case. He was quite serious the first time and much too defensive now. He is a very charismatic guy and sees things from his perspective, but Lindsey knew how crazy it is when someone dares to do something they would never do and is mocked. That’s why she went crazy. In the end, no one made a big mistake, but Andy had to juggle a little with his ego and find the optimal solution. Rather than trying to find excuses like "but I said she's a better player than a singer, what's wrong with that?" A little too defensive
Wow. This is like Congress. Spending time and energy on stuff of nonsense. What Andy said was NOT something to even make a second thought about much less be legitimately mad about.
Can we get loops of Lindsey telling Andy he is a dick and shitty? I live for those moments. LOL This is such a great exchange but those phrases should be made into reels and go viral on the Tik Tok.
My god you literally can’t say anything these days. Makes me cringe that Andy has to explain himself on this. Someone who’s not a rapper can’t rap, my shock haha. It’s like me singing on karaoke and people saying don’t quit your day job.
This has nothing to do with Emmas tennis, and more to do with how telling the truth has become disallowed if it hurts a snowflakes feelings. Get a grip.

As it's often been said, this is "much ado about nothing."
Women are from Venus, men are from Mars.
That says it all.

She’s still mad 😂😂😂
Did a exhibition with Lindsay in New York at a JP Morgan event. Nice person.

That was so weird. What a weird argument. Weird.
There is more to it Im sure. That cant be it.
Sounds like the team cap totally forgot to tell her player about the speech and made a fool of her lmfaooo now shes trying to flip it on someone else

Linsday & A-Rod= Best serve all-time! No debate...
Serena enters the chat
Met Lindsay twice. Nicest person

When the base moral of the story here is the old “it’s just a joke” but the ARODs analytical whimsy takes over it to stretch over a 13 min clip 😂
Can we get loops of Lindsey telling Andy he is a dick and shitty? I live for those moments. LOL This is such a great exchange but those phrases should be made into reels and go viral on the Tik Tok.
Emma Navarro isn’t the only rappin’ tennis playa. Shapo has a rap album.
Shapo can actually rap
Sooooooooooo thin skinned, politically correct and woke! You can’t make a freaking joke?????? Seriously????? Come on Lindsay……😮
Lindsey is right.

Fuming!
Lindsey is a Karen
Why take this banter so seriously. Geez.
