Excellent reaction 👍🏻 glad you’re enjoying your jinjer journey. I don’t think many metal bands change as much as jinjer thats why personally i like them constantly never put them to one side im always listening to them since i got into there music 3 years ago. Jinjer is 4 parts all of them tight and important for each other but i get why tatiana is the main focus.they are touring in the usa 🇺🇸 this year.they have nearly finished a new album so new music this year👍🏻.
I recommend watching “ home back “ next she goes the lowest I’ve ever heard her go in one part of the song.🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Tatiana loves a wide variety of music, including rap and reggae. It is less obvious but she uses a rap-like cadence in her growls very frequently too. Judgement & Punishment one take is awesome too. Their songs are definitely a journey. They pack so many feelings into each song.

Tatiana coming in on this spittin barz had me properly o_O on first listen!
This won my song of the year for 2019- the angular proggy timings switching to an epic 4/4 chorus, & when she comes in on the chilled section with that tender vocal.... #Goosebumps :)

I knew you two would get back to Jinjer, you just couldn't stay away LOL 😆😆😆. They are an incredible band, and I do mean band. Tati gets the most attention because of her unbelievable vocals, but Eugene (bass), Roman (guitar) and Vlad (drums) are equally phenomenal. Asia said it perfectly, everyone has a bit of the show, and they do, they compliment each other perfectly, and that's what makes them an amazing band. I just have to mention to BJ that there are several female growlers/screamers out there, but for me, Tatiana is by far the best I've ever heard, and I've been listening to metal for over 40 years. After hopefully a few more Jinjer reactions, I could definitely see you two attending one of their concerts, they announced their North American tour a few weeks ago, and they might be in a city near you, I'm just saying 😊😊😊 I bought mine a few weeks ago when they perform in LA in October, plus I got the VIP meet and greet so I'll be able to meet Tatiana, Eugene, Roman, and Vlad, I'm so excited, I can't wait. I know it's gonna be an awesome night, as long as I don't get caught up in the mosh pit, because at my age, it could be catastrophic LOL 😆😆😆😆 Continue to enjoy your Jinjer journey you two, and as always, stay Metal. 😊😊🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

Awesome fun reaction:-) You both will have to check out more. Jinjer are simply true artist. They break the mold on traditional metal. They have a lot of different influences. But their main constant is they want to take you for an extreme journey from high highs to low lows and write around substance and meaning. Everything in the music, to the vocal melodies and lyrics are written with purpose. Each song is an artistical piece for them. They don't don't do anything half assed or the typical write a crap ton of songs and then select the best ones to go on an album, they only write a song with the intent for it to go on an album. Heart and soul gets put into every song and in every live performance of those songs. You should check out their song "Perennial" Live at Wacken 2019 next!

Mosh is rough but there's some unspoken rules. Always pick up somebody if they fall. If someone gets hurt crowd surf down to the front so security can get them, don't grope the women, Don't punch and elbow people on purpose but it will happen so dont loose your temper when it does and when it does you don't really care because you are so pumped you don't even feel it.

You know, the whole song I watched your eyes (both of you! 😉) and I saw the light in them. I saw how you went into that emotional rollercoaster, there was no pretense. Jinjer always get you on a journey. And, yes, your`s is not over! 😁🤘
So, if you love surprises (and I definitely think you do!) then your next step is the one-take vocal of "Judgment and Punishment". You both saw that in "Teacher, Teacher" Tatiana does something like rap and you were right. In "Judgment and Punishment" she does not - but.... 😁

You're right that Jinjer loves writing songs with that calm/heavy roller coaster, it's in most of their songs and I think it's one of the ingredients that makes them so fantastic - the heavy parts make the soft parts feel softer and the soft parts make the heavy parts feel heavier. Jinjer is so good composing songs that keep the ear interested with smooth switches between tempos, time signatures, styles and genres. All of that mixed with powerful performing ability and powerful messages in their lyrics (mostly written by Tatiana) and I can see why they become so many people's favorite band so quickly.
As many others have said, Judgement and Punishment (Tatiana's vocal one take) is another great one (all of them are, though), enjoy! ❤🤘

Next up has to be "Judgment and Punishment: one take" and see Tati's ability to flip between growls and cleans at close range: th-cam.com/video/Q5rg_63Shqg/w-d-xo.html
But Tati is the only one. You heard that angelic voice of Floor Jansen in "Ghost Love Score". Well, listen to demon Floor in her previous band ReVamp: "Misery's No Crime" th-cam.com/video/SNPesLFTnUg/w-d-xo.html
And there's more. Canada's Courtney Laplante of Spiritbox also flips between cleans and growls. Sweden's Arch Enemy has had two great female growlers, Alissa White-Gluz and Angela Gassow.
About the wall of death, check out Epica "Consign to Oblivion" th-cam.com/video/dkqyyUTCMUQ/w-d-xo.html where Mark Jansen lines up the wall. (no relation to Floor, but they were both in the band After Forever) th-cam.com/video/dkqyyUTCMUQ/w-d-xo.html
Check out Epica as they're like a heavier version of Nightwish.

The best Jinjer song of all time is older than any you have yet reviewed. Their Magnum Opus is, I Speak Astronomy. You have the most passionate reactions though the filter of people who appreciate music for music. I pray that I am fortunate enough to see you react to Jinjer - I Speak Astronomy. 🙏🏻 God bless you both and stay safe. Your passion for music is wholesome and fulfilling. World needs more Asia and BJ. 🤘🏻

Just to let you know ❤ Wonderful reactions of yours on Jinjer. Obviously you have no Rock and Metal history. My respect and appreciation for your openness. 🎉 And ots good to know that your exposure to Metal happens with this once in a generation talented band as Jinjer is. This shows how special and great Jinjer are 😊😊😊

That high and calm periods you talk about are called "song dynamics" and Jinjer are kings at that... it's very common in progressive rock and progressive metal, because songs tend to be longer than those 3 or 4 minutes of "normal radio station songs". When you do a song 5, 6 or even 20 minutes (some bands do) you need to alter the dynamics of your song so it doesn't get boring... Jinjer as I said are very good at that, and you can check other bands who do this kind of thing, like Dream Theater, Tool, and other great progressive metal or rock bands.
If you're open to go into the prrogressive metal/rock rabbit hole, I wold recommend you for example to try with "Tool - Pneuma" to see another example... or any good song from Dream Theater (starting with the most simple ones like Pull me Under or As I am... then when you get used to that you can try for example Dance of Eternity or any in the Metropolis pt2 album)
Those bands make very complex music and may be not easy for early listeners, but if you get into it.. it's awesome for the complex polyrithms, dynamics, etc...

Even if you don't like METAL if something's this good, one can appreciate it. It's just good... may still be not your cup of tea but absolutely worth listening to it. 1st Rule of Mosh Pit: you go to the ground you're being picked up again.

Its the balance between beauty and brutality. Its a pleasure seeing you guys enjoying this music. Ive already heard it all before so I know when the good parts are coming and your reactions are priceless. Im amazed at the fact you (asia) took such a quick liking to blast beats (super fast snare). You should react to the band Strapping Young Lad song Love

React or just watch their Live in Melbourne video to get the as close as possible experience. Seen them twice. Holy Crap. JINJER is on another level. New music coming. The only good thing out of Covid is our favorite artists are just creating new music. Later this year its all gonna drop. Can't wait
