  • I grew up in the sea... My memories and connections to the sea are something that remain with you always. Every time I've been to a new country that has the sea, I always try to get close and touch it or even get into it.
In this Eurorack session, I suddenly felt sounds that reminded me of diving underwater. I heard whales, dolphins....
As I was saying the other day. It is true that Eurorack is a difficult path, very expensive and very demanding and …very frustrating some times, but it leads you to encounters and results that I never found in other environments.
Monome Grid is the one who controls all note evolutions through Monome Ansible. And the set of Mannequins modules: Just Friends, Mangrove, Three sisters and Coldmac, are in charge of the sound generation. The rest is modulation: Make Noise Maths (spectacular module that I keep rediscovering), Qubit Nautilus, Qubit Data Bender, Noise Engineering Electus Versio, Instruo Arbhar (spectacular module once you open your mind with it), and more...
I have based everything on the purity of the oscillators. There is no sampling of pads or external layers. Everything is a combination of sine waves, triangle waves, hybrid waves... Looking for the construction of more complex structures from the roots.
I hope you like it or at least, I hope it will leave you a quiet time.
As always, the session is an absolute live without cuts or additions. Sorry for any imperfections.

Lovely Patch & video Hessence! Lovely tones, and the drifting is performed wonderfully! I've always been interested in the Arbhar, maybe I should consider it as my next module...

Delightful! I just did a yoga session did this and have rarely felt more calm. Many layers always risk being too busy - you've managed the perfect balance.

Thank you my friend. I feel that this is one of the magic things that happens sometimes when you play it from the scratch 100% live… you play, you feel, you change things in the fly…you feel something new and then you modify something else… ✨🙏🙏🙏

@@Hessencemusic Exactly right - the process of slowly stretching into unknown waters is a wonderful thing...

a refreshing swim in unfamiliar waters.............this develops so beautifully..........you really cover a lot of different vibes, yet many of the actual tones are quite simple and pure........that flying whale was unexpected.......A nice tribute to water....covering 2/3 of the earth's surface, yet unknown to most of us.........I feel you'll appreciate some of this work by another brilliant TH-camr, who's music (and visuals) I've become a big fan of:

Thank you very much Will.. The ocean deserves all the tribute in the world and much more respect and care by the entire human race.
The sea was the beginning and should not be our end.
I loved the video you recommended!! It reminded me of the images when diving through the seaweed on days when the sea was rough.

The sea may yet be our end.....who knows........if you check out more of his guitar/synth stuff, you'll see some footage similar to the aerial stuff you used as part of your visuals......
