I did wrestling in high school. The conditioning and strength Bo had in wrestling was superb. I have been following him wrestle since his college days. He is an amazing athlete to start with. He has superb physique. I personally think wrestling requires more stamina and conditioning than boxing and MMA. He has good fight IQ and learned striking very quickly.
I love Bo. But he is one of the greatest wrestlers to ever step foot in the UFC and his mom is a boxing coach. He grew up around this shit. He did not just walk into an mma gym in 2021. His whole life was preparation.

Tried to run it out for a couple steps then full body slide on the asphalt. If I would have done the slightest amount of research beforehand, I would have seen all the injuries, lawsuits and TH-cam nosedive compilations. I was lucky to walk away with just some scrapes and a bruised ego, but many others have been seriously injured and some even died.

He also wrestled at 190 and 200lbs, which is even less popular. Do you genuinely think it's impressive to wrestle 2-3-4 guys and win a gold medal? Lol...He's also fought nobody in the UFC except burns who fought most his career at 155, and old man usman on a losing streak in a weight class he doesn't fight at halfway across the world on a what 1-2 week notice? Gasses after 1 round, he's mediocre at best.
