Tokyo’s Ariake Arena will host two consecutive days of championship action - eight fights and seven world title showdowns - streaming live and exclusively in the U.S. on ESPN+ during the early morning hours.
The action continues Monday, Oct. 14, as three-division king Junto Nakatani defends his WBC bantamweight world title against Petch Sor Chitpattana. In the 10-round co-feature, former kickboxing world champion Tenshin Nasukawa (4-0, 2 KOs) faces Filipino contender Gerwin Asilo (9-0, 4 KOs) for the vacant WBO Asia Pacific bantamweight title.

僕の見立てではあえてショートタイムで倒さず3round以内で終わったらk1と変わらないので、これからもっと強い相手とやるとしてロングな試合を想定しての試合だったのかもしれないですね。

He’s (even at his young age) a legend in kick-boxing so he has experience already, but i don’t know he seems slow for a young boxer of small weight class, but maybe with time he will improve significantly
not for nothing but any sport the japanese are in they are all in with the mental toughness

I can't get that scene out of my head.
Mayweather is so much heaver than Nasukawa who was then an undefeated kickboxing champion. Mayweather enforced strict rules against him and you cannot say a history of crying like a baby without knowing the facts. Mayweather went to Japan to make an easy money to fight Nasukawa who did not have much experience in boxing at that time.
Put them in the street and Mayweather gets knocked out in 15 seconds 🥱

キックの時の輝きが感じられない、1、2発ラッキーパンチが当たったくらいではｋoはできません。
チャンスの時もラッシュが続かない、疲れたのか？相手の反撃が怖いのか？詰めが甘いのでＫＯができないんだろうね！

Tenshin was former kick boxing champion. He has talent but he will need time to adjust to boxing. and yes Inoue is on a different level

I know, Tenshin was former undefeated K1 champion.
But in his Pro Boxing Carrier, nothing is special.
You're talking about a former kickboxing champion who has only just transferred to boxing. And you're comparing him to Naoya Inoue, a 4 weight boxing champion, who has unified belts in 2 different weightclasses withing a year and arguably the pfp top boxer in the world.
You're comparing someone brand new to boxing and a former kickboxer to the current best boxer in the world.

Inoue was boxing since 5 he is 31 now and became pro in 2012 Tenshin is like 24 or so and pro since like 2022

It was an exhibition fight with mayweather when Tenshin was still only a kickboxer, he had 0 boxing experience and mayweather was heavier than him by a decent amount. Tenshin has only had 2 pro boxing fights now.
