These two were so amazing as Tully and Kate. I was ugly crying when I finished the series. Don't think a TV show has ever made me feel so emotional before. Just fantastic.

"Firefly Lane" was one of the best series I have watched in a long time. I binged watched it because I couldn't wait for the next episode. It was realistic and the acting was fantastic! Loved it!
The two young actresses playing Kate and Tully were phenomenal!

I had never read the book so I didn't know what I was in for. My mom passed from metastatic breast cancer and just seeing the rash on Malarkey really hit me. The whole second season had me crying, thinking about my mom and reliving everything. Amazing show, amazing cast. I loved it but it also broke me. 💔
Just finished. It was perfect, a genuinely beautiful series conveying life, love, and friendship.
I got so angry and frustrated at times, but that's because I was so invested in the characters.
This is the best thing I have seen Katherine Hilgl in!! She was absolutely fantastic. So was the whole cast but I think that this was her best work so far
As someone who used to LOVE Scrubs as a kid, it is so amazing seeing Sarah Chalke get her chance to shine and show off her range of acting skills! She brings so much heart to Mularkey!
Absolutely agree. I loved Scrubs too. I wasn't a Katherine Hilgl fan - but I am now. It was their best work as the characters had so much depth - the viewer was really able to become invested in their stories.
she's really good i've been obsessed with her since i watch paradise pd i was curious about gina's voice lol so i started watching her movies and shows and now one of my top favorite actresses and yeah her acting was perfect on the show 🩷
The car crash made me so angry - with Kate and her kid - I was team Tully all the way ..... until surprisingly Cloud was right- it wasn't the care accident. It was a codependent relationship that needed a break so Kate and Tully could grow as characters.

There is a second part of last season coming in juni/july . 7 episodes if i remember, and those will be the last episodes of the serie.

I'm honestly really happy Kate took the part of Tully because I think it really suits her not only did it challenge her.

I loved this show and I really felt like it was a co-dependent friendship but a friendship worth lasting throughout the years.
I wish I had someone that cared for me as much as I cared for them. Soul mates come in all kinds of relationships and forms.
I am very happy and excited by the path this series is taking.
They are really very faithful to the books and this is very important for this story.
This book represents a friendship that I no longer have, but that means and is a big part of who I am today as an adult. I get very emotional with the growth and the roller coaster of feelings that the characters go through, and they know how to represent this perfectly.
I don't know if I'm ready for the last season, it's the hardest, not just because it's the last but because of what's ahead of us.
Perhaps ..season 3... Kate's book to Tully. Start with " closing dance....Tully sitting with Sportsman Dan..reading together..glass of wine and NEW Flash Backs....so many creative stories can be in "Kate's version book".... tell us what they were... all characters can return.❤
I wasn’t expecting to put this as my #1 show I just clicked cause of Katherine and am so happy I got to experience this beautiful story

Loved this series , a beautiful friendship and a very emotional last few episodes . A part of me wishes the story line had not turned so heavy , because sometimes I enjoy a show because it s not too serious x
I put off watching this show because I loved Sarah in scrubs and loved Kate in Greys and didn’t want to just be thinking of their past characters while watching this show. But wow… what an amazing performance by both women. Such an amazing show and a beautiful story of what true friendship between women can be!
Katherine really pulled off the 80’s brunette with curls, I should know that was totally me. And she’s not a Dorothy because she’s cynical, it’s because she is literal, and calls it like she sees and feels it.
My favourite girly series. Love these characters,so sad to see the last series. Loved it 💖

Omfg - so Cloud turns out to be a genius regarding Kate and Tully's relationship and it's codependency and need for space.
When Cloud instinctively knew that something happened between Tully and the girl that kissed her was awesome! Loved Cloud’s character more towards the middle and end of the show!
@Linda Droege I am a recovering drug addict - I don't have children - but I could relate to her character a lot.
I think that the wonderful thing about the show -(I plan to read the book) - was that the characters had so many dimensions to them and character arcs. Making me at different times be frustrated by their actions, happy for them, upset for them. A solid group of people.
Cloud really did end up getting well and sorting her life out and ended up having a lot of perception.

A guy here :-) Tully & Mularkey are the friends many of us wish we had. Mularkey is selfless and servant natured caring for others. She is insecure in the ways of the world. Heart see's the mom/sister/friend she needs in Mularkey. Tully has no fear. This show did a great job knitting in joys, struggles, trust, and forgiveness. A real friendship is forged in trials. Even is Mularkey's illness we see great love, devotion, and character. If I was in the book I would have contested Johnny for Mularkey.
I’m ready for next month and also not ready. I love these books 💜💜💜 I love all the characters.
Yeah I loved this show. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of months back and I'm so so grateful it is not the type that Kate had. However, the show opened my eyes to how I can help to care for my mom and whatnot. I would watch this again. It really moved me.

This series goes into the collection of the few in which every single part clicked to perfection. It had the perfect mix of nostalgia, much of us in the 50+ club can relate to experience wise & their ups & downs really hit some soft spots. However 2 seasons & fin was xcellent to end off unless like Dallas a 3rd season wid mean the whole of S2 was a dream ! Nope hopefully no Netflix PPL read that . S2 finito thank you.

I love Katherine. Hollywood tried to destroy her because she’s a woman who knows what she wants and knows how to get it without compromising her dignity and she’s not afraid to speak her mind. We all know how the politics in Hollywood works. I respect her and love her work!

Since I started watching Firefly Lane on Netflix, I haven't missed any episode, look like I'm turning into my mom who sees Telenovelas. Moreover Sarah and Katherine are very talented actresses especially, Katherine who's known for being a difficult actress. To be honest, she wasn't as rude as I thought in the real life, anybody would want to cast her even, myself if I were director❤

Yup i don’t have a friendship like this at all anymore and i wish it ended the way the series did. Instead i was just stabbed in the back a million times.

How kate is alive in 2016 when maarya getting married in a starting scene of last episode then at last in 2006 only kate died at climax so how she attended her daughter weeding
It was Tully's imagination that Kate was there. It confused me too, and made me think she was going to get better.

Good show. It definitely shows how to not act if you love someone. Kate's character got absolutely ridiculous after the accident and I wanted to slap her face so bad.
sadly this didnt last long because the material is cliche, bad dialogues and story is so slow. I feel bad because Katherine Heigl is such an amazing actor I hope she is given the right projects that she really deserves. Plus her co-lead star here is so uncharismatic ugh such an eyesore
