  • Welcome to Shoshone, California. It's the closest town to the South entrance of Death Valley National Park. They have motorist services like food and fuel. But this little town have so much more to offer. Make Shoshone a part of your itinerary and explorer it's rich history.

I used to live here when I was a kid. My dad worked for the USGS and helped map Death Valley back in the early 80's.

Well done. I always stop off at the Crowbar on my way to Death Valley. I haven't been able to visit the museum due to COVID closures the last few years, but I'm hoping to see it soon.

Nice job thank you. The Amargosa River flows underneath where you were hiking I'm pretty sure. If you drop down to Tecopa it's a great place to chill with the smoke of your choice and soak in those magical minerals at the baths. You'll come out of there feeling so wonderful I can't put it into words but it's probably got something to do with possession by good ghosts or something lol. I went out there in February and it was all mine except for the Ravens who I had "high" level discussions with lol.

I found your video by chance and how amazing 👏 as I have been to Shoshone several times when I visited a friend who has a house in Pahrump. We used to drive to Shoshone and I spent several afternoons in the Crow Bar having a beer and fried chips! Also, still have a dream catcher I bought at the store there. I had no idea about the carved homes though! Your video brought back happy memories 🌈💫
