Price was $630 EACH, the merch wasnt very limited this time around, not many great booths imo.
VIP Box includes:
wristband
$40 flower charger
$15 flower pin
$15 pin
Access at 9am vs 11am GA
VIP lounge
VIP area in Conversations and Arena
$15 Food voucher
5 Free Drink voucher
Things that went ok:
Lines inside were well maintained in VIP line, no cutting, which was a huge plus!VIP Lounge was nice with the free hat! Location was bad tho in front of the Amex line, cant exit from that spot tho.Once we finished in lines for 2 or 3 hrs, dropped off items at hotel and came back later.Food was greatPintrill was funlots of surprise celebs
Problems with VIP
Cutting in VIP line outside, at least 25 pp 1st day.
VIP wasn't let in first? Early access bands paid less, had a different entrance and got in FASTER than VIP line.
45 minute waits in line = 3 pickups maybe before regular entry
Issues with registers in line during VIP time
"Celebrity" would come thru and stop all sales for 30 mins during VIP time
No VIP line for Merch for pickup. (waiting for 2 hrs to cop merch, then 2 hrs to pick up is a fail)
Can't enjoy other VIP perks if all we are doing is waiting in line!
Conversation panels, or shows are skipped because of this.
Product not held for 2nd day (sold out in day 1, what is point of VIP day 2?? If you were GA, and waited in line day 1, you had better chance to cop than VIP day 2 on some things!)
Merch sucked this year
No resale market unless you want to hold.
prices were inflated at atmos
confusion on what was dropping and which day
Amex and early access got everything VIP got and more?
Better merch inventory so people arent waiting in line for sold out stuff, an employee line monitor to check orders and menus before you enter store would be great.

HES my guy, really 900 on those, spend another 100 and a flight to NY you couldve just done a bespoke and it wouldve been 1 or 1...i dont understand the unreasonable price tag on those.

We did as well as we possibly could, and even with a little "help" there was no way we were going to cover all the expenses. It was still a fun experience though and I feel like the lines were better controlled and not as crazy (but that might have to do with the lack of resell). It sucks they didn't have any surprise stash drops or heat sauce type secrets, that would have been really dope!

I got the Onitsuka Tiger × Street fighter shoes and they came with a hoodie! Also got the Offsafety × Aaliyah collab tee, met Anderson Paak at the Jameson neighborhood bar and I got a signed Vinyl record from him! Saw hot ones with Dababy which was pretty lit, also got Takashi Murakami to sign my postcard and grabbed most of the Pintrill pins, and finally got to see Kid Cudi live!

@@pjeung23 yeah it is for sure... But I'm disabled and not able to get out much so I'm so used to paying resale it doesn't seem so bad, but for retail price that is pretty damn high. I'd still cop it though, since the actual artwork itself is selling for multiple thousands and for sure I can't afford that :')

I had VIP and besides Atmos, none of the other booths had anything new on Day 2. So only worth it for 1 Day because you could get everything on Day 1

Sharing the prices on things makes it more interesting. Wow the resale prices.
I think its harder to grab stuff for resale when your a real fan of the items, you just end up getting some dope collectables, and that is, for me, better than making some proffit..

You have to know what to buy, one of the best items I got were 5 Mark Drew complexcon prints, last years sold 7 months later for 900 on ebay. Not only that but Kyrie sneaker room, bbc reebok, kid cudi CPFM, and Futura booth. Long term (7months) probably made over 5/6 on a 640 investment as I had a place to stay for free and booked flights with points.
$630 for a VIP box and only $15 food voucher? Damn that sucks....
Right, atleast give vip a premium unlimited buffet with a chef for free. Customer experience and service has turned to shit for a premium price.

It seems like retailers know that people resell and will charge you something ridiculous to cut out all profit. Kaws has some stuff for sale and shipping is a flat ~$90 for anything you buy.

Ok so ComplexCon was no better than Chicago. Atmos/Dave White collab stuff was leftovers from what they didn’t sell in Chicago - I copped the shorts on Sunday after they sold out of the animal print kicks (and they did the same thing there - you had to buy other merch & higher prices on the shoes) I ranted for 20 minutes on my channel man smh....ComplexCon is goin downhill if they don’t figure out the VIP experience better. I will admit though you got some NICE pickups
