I don't care how much it cost, but I will never change my favorite syrup. Mrs Butterworth. Even if I have to do with out it til I can get it. I wish aldi's carried it. Travel is hard in a wheelchair.

I used to use King Syrup or Turkey Syrup, but I mostly use honey, now. You can use less and get a great flavor.
I skip the "pancake syrups" and use Maple Gold 100% pure maple syrup.

The replacement - let's call them "PM" - we don't talk about them. We want pancakes, not wokecakes. Some things cannot be forgiven.
I just went and checked my pantry. Yep, still have a big bottle of classically labeled Aunt Jemima Butter Rich, still about 3/4 full (syrup never expires). I also have a bottle of Smucker's Boysenberry. I believe I'll make some pancakes today.
As a diabetic, I used to use Smuckers suyrup, but I don't think it's made anymore. The one from Splenda is pretty good, but it lacks a maple flavor so the Pearl Milling Company light syrup is pretty good.
Somehow I knew what The winner would be. And I agree. Definitely the best of the fake syrups. Hell, I'm just as happy to use it as I am real maple syrup, or our regional specialty, cane syrup. Aunt Jemima butter rich Is top tier without a doubt.
HungryJack's pancake is very good. Mrs.Butterworth is a very close second.

Griffins is not maple syrup but absolutely tastes better than “maple” syrup. Never liked real maple syrup because I got spoiled on Griffins at an early age.

You're not going to live forever, so why not spring for affordable luxury ? Just get the real thing - real maple syrup. Or if you're eating breakfast out, Cracker Barrel is the only place I know that serves real maple syrup. Their French Toast is amazing with their real maple syrup. Even McD's unremarkable pancakes can be made better with real maple syrup - just get McD's to go.
