Dohc SMR Jordan has incredible strength and stamina. Mark hall is always matched up against guys that look way bigger but that’s cus all his weight is in his legs.

Jordan was so dirty in this match. Tries hurting Hall's finger, then grabs onto his headgear to try to break Hall's control. So classy.

I like how Hall was trying to spladle Jordan on top. In the 3rd period he had his leg in the right way on top, and he was trying a few times to reach for the other leg and go for a Darrion Caldwell spladle. Even whenever Hall is up, he still tries to show off, even against the best of opponents
the spladle move was for show. Markie was proving he wasn't stalling, when he was. He never intended to take the spladle all the way at that time, imo. He's just about the smartest wrestler I know.

Why was Hall ranked #2 at this point?
Because Zahid Valencia was #1 and rightfully so. Valencia beat him handily in the NCAA finals that year and then again the following year.
That was a great dual match. Some great wrestling took place there. The OSU/PSU rivalry is always electric as both programs are perennial title contenders(PSU is almost a lock at NCAAs for top 1-3}. I bleed scarlet and gray yet have a ton of respect for Cael and the program he's built at PSU. Since 2009 they have been absolutely DOMINANT. Almost impossible to beat at state college and once nationals roll around they just find ways to win. Looking forward to the tilt in Columbus this year as OSU! We picked up some killers in the recruiting department, hoping to see them shine in the years to come.

Mark Hall's physique got a lot softer his last two years. He doesn't look anywhere close to being this stacked now.
Hall road Jorden like a school girl. OSU choked. And to get his weak as pulled back onto the mat and give up a take down is weak. No Zippy Hall is bigger, stronger and better than Meathead.
Mark would be a 4 timer down a weight.
He will never be a national champ again of Zahid stays in his weight class. The one time he beat Zahid (the only time) it was controversial.

Wow Hall is a strong, full grown Man. When you get pulled back onto the mat trying to crawl away that is weak. A crunching cross face put Jorden face down on the mat. Jorden is not very strong. When you get rode like Jorden was it is a sign of low stamina and lack of power. OSU needs to work on their strength. Pulling on Hall’s finger, stalling warning and the inability to do anything with Hall in the down position shows Jorden’s not very strong compared to Hall.
You very obviously don't like Ohio State. You have no factual information that Ohio State is a weak team that needs to work on strength. Kyle Snyder is a smaller heavyweight in the NCAA, and yet he can easily lift those 260+ wrestlers into the air with ease. And you literally have no idea whether Bo is a strong wrestler or not. You act like you have wrestled him many times and overpowered him. This is such an ignorant comment coming from somebody who is doing nothing but hating.

This is about Bo Jorden and the OSU wrestlers from 149 to 197. OSU had a chance to beat probably one of the best college wrestling teams ever assembled. The were beaten because of there lack of strength and stamina. Also I am a fan of wrestling. All wrestling. I thought OSU had a shot to win this dual with Nolf out due to injury. The way the OSU wrestlers were man handled by PSU wrestlers was not from poor coaching or lack of wrestling skills. Wrestling at this level is the 1 percentile. The difference is power and stamina. The OSU wrestlers weakness was on display. Your refusal to recognize this just proves your ignorance.

Jorden could do NOTHING but take the crunching, loss of manhood defeat from a superior Penn State wrestler. Think about it. Martin gets PINNED to lose a National Championship. Tomesello pinned, Jorden pinned, Moore pinned, little Jorden tech fall. The supposedly number 1 OSU wrestlers pulled off one of the biggest chokes in the history of the tournament. But OSU has a habit of doing that.
