Restoration Ecology can also be done in your own backyard - literally! Lawns are horrible for local ecologies and are frequently needing way more water than native grasses to stay green. It’s worth looking up what native flora are in your area and replacing that lawn with something better for your biome.

A study was conducted and found that 60% of the invasive plants species were purposefully introduced and of that quantity, 60% were introduced by the nursery trade. I can't find a professor or funding to conduct my research. I'm still trying my best.
