Brute's attack damage is simply an upgraded version of tank destroyer with the ability to kill infantry yet quite ineffective against structure. They're a good combo with any basic infantry a 10 brutes with 10 or 15 any basic infantries can burn a lightly to mediumly defended base easily and might destroy half or 75% of highly defended base(no grand cannon/walled up prism tanks/deployed desolator).
Interestingly, there's a line of code associated with the brute that is disabled by default. If you were to go into the game's files and enable this code it allows brutes to potentially flip vehicles over instantly destroying them.
I think I may have found it, there's a file called rulesmd.ini (not to be confused with the rules.ini file, that's for vanilla red alert 2), inside that file is the stats and functions, cost, armour types, etc. In the brute's section there's a commented out line that reads ";GEF unless we decide to put it back in Pushy=yes" If i'm interpreting it correctly removing everything from immediately before pushy to the semi colon (including the semi colon), it SHOULD put the pushing/flipping function back in. For some reason though the game itself is not cooperating with me, tabs itself automatically and comes back in pinkish and squished to the left side of my screen. If I can somehow get the game working. I'll definitely try and test it. Stay tuned unless you want to try it yourself.

Yuri is banned in comp because it's too easy for a Yuri to amass their death ball. If the Yuri player isn't that competent with their unit composition, then they should be fairly easy to take down.

To be fair, any unit that can be promoted only gets their increased HP and damage on Veteran. And before anyone says "but dracmeister, units also even more damage in Elite." Wrong[sic]. They get self-healing and extra range. The reason why some units in elite status are stronger is because they get an elite version of their weapon, which means a separate weapon entry that stacks with their current buffs as elite.

I don't really know. The map was in with the installation I made. I haven't downloaded anything. By the way, make sure that when you seach for the map you have the Free For All Game type on the left. As I can see the map is not shown if you choose Team Alliance.
Give Brutes that cycle jump ability from red alert 3 and we might see some use for these units :P imagine them jumping up on cliffs and into inf spam, stunning everyone. :D
