Garf’s voice actor also voices Bakugou from MHA and Accelerator from Toaru. All of those roles are voiced exceptionally well, with their own personality.
Juilius’ dynamic with Subaru is even more clearly layed out in the novels. Essentially, it is implied that Julius deliberately plays into his pretty boy persona as a part of their banter, given Subaru’s annoyed reactions. Also, Subaru is clearly acting like a tsundere, which is hilarious.
Reinhard is the Master Swordsman and is definitely fast, but he doesn’t want to take the risk. Heinkel is still a swordsman good enough to be Vice Captain of the Royal Knights, there’s a chance he could cut Felt’s throat before Reinhard could save her.

to me the reinhard thing does feel like a bail out. The entire city is full of the guys you're literally trained to destroy, and yet hes done nothing all season so far??? Yeah, not even responds to things the same way as another. Subaru might go straight to anger but Emilia has shown to keep a cool head almost always. Either she’s confused and freezes, or has a cold sense of anger where she’s very logical and to the point

One thing to notice is that Kiritaka remembers Otto. So at least he is not eaten.... Reinhard could probably kill Heinkel before he kills Felt. But thats his dad so he wouldnt do that. And trying to restrain him would take too long.
The whole city has turned into a battlefield, so resource management, intel and unit condition take priority. Morale is probably one of the most important elements in this situation. Fortunately, Subaru, after all the crap he's been through has a higher tolerance to this sort of thing. I also like how Ricardo, serves as a positive influence in the morale. he was quick to recognize that Garth's psyche is shaken and get him back into fighting condition. Back when they were about to hunt down the whale, he made sure the moods were high in the prelude.

The mystery is always there with all the questions we have: what will they use the witch remain for? why is there two gluttony? who are these two people we saw? what are these eggs? What is the identity of Sirius? etc. The psychological is maybe the less proeminent so far in this season with the power of Sirius making all people share their feelings and sensations, and Garfiel dilemna with his mother. The gore is already there with Sirius scenes in episode 2, Lye Batenkaitos scene in last episode, this episode there was what happened to the people in the Court Hall by Capella, but it was just sound, etc. The drama is also there for Garfiel with his mother and Mimi's situation, Reinhard/Heinkel/Wilhelm family situation.

Loremaster here! You missed a few details here in this episode. This Archbishop of Gluttony is not the same one that Rem and Otto encountered from before. In the last episode, we saw Capella as a human announcing on the speakers, so you can assume that she possesses the ability to transform herself. Lastly the name Typhon was dropped here, the anime introduced her last season, she is the witch of Pride, the lil girl that took off Subaru's arm and shattered him into a million pieces, until Minerva came and put him back together again

Wrath we met in Ep. 1 and 2, There is no Pride (at least there wasn't when we met Petelguese a year ago). Roswall ,ram and Fredericka are back at the mansion, Betty is in a coma after using all her mana to heal Subaru and the people in the square(ep. 3), Puck broke her contract with Emilia and the original reason to travel here was for Emilia to get the magic crystal she needs to call him back.

Some very important information that was missed this episode: Gluttony said his name was Roy Alphard. Every time Gluttony introduced himself so far he said his name was Lye Batenkaitos. He also talks about "us" Aldebaran somehow knew some very specific info about Gluttony to say never say your real name around him. Also the Witch stuff was insanely important but I dont think anyone spotted that detail.. In this world only Satella went down in history. The vast majority doesnt even know other Witches existed if they did not have a direct connection to them like Roswaal/Betty. This was hinted at multiple times so far. So for Aldebaran to know of other Witches is fishy itself but knowing Typhons exact name and how she died is simply something he should not ever know
There was two cut content elements from season 2, that I wish the anime mentioned, that would make the theory crafting for anime-onlies so much more active. I was ecstatic when I saw this episode and realized some things. It was so rewarding to see some subtle implications and figure out things because of prior lore elements.
After a year of hellish training, Subaru is like top 5% humans of our world. He really outdid himself and is still hella weak compared to whatever things live in the world of re zero, but at least he catched up a bit with his training and that's why he's more capable of things like the landing on the roof with Crusch.

Hey luke. I highly recommend you watch the break time re zero episodes as well. They are 3 minutes each and are supposed to be watched right after the weekly episode. They just dropped a MASSIVE lore drop in the latest one by context. Also you really need to watch videos discussing the cut content of s1,2,3 because they cut out a lot of scenes which provided a lot of context and world building and also cut a MASSIVE Bombshell from s1 since they didn't know if they will continue with the anime.

A few clarifications as best as I can explain them. I'm pretty sure without spoilers as I haven't read the LN or WN, I only know of some cut content. Due to how the anime treats some of it's cut content, some of what's in the replies could be considered a spoiler only if the anime has more anime original moments. So if you don't want potential spoilers then look away from the replies. The divine protection the triplets have makes them all share injuries, I'm assuming it makes each of them take reduced harm from injuries but it's shared by them all. The gluttony we see at the end is not the same person that attacked Rem and was seen by Otto. There are at least 2 of them. Also, the VA you seemed so excited about is in fact Aoi Yuuki.
I would say cut the part of Wilhelm out of your comment as it seems the anime will reveal it given Wilhelms reactions to it in this episode. Also the divine protection allows them to share it by passing it over. Effectively spreading the damage. Since Mimi has the highest durability and stamina of the 3, she usually takes most of the damage from her two siblings onto herself. Which makes this situation even harder as the siblings are keeping her alive by taking the damage she took onto themselves.

Annoyingly it's info that is needed to fully understand what Wilhelm says when clashing with the cultists, and the fact he has his injury isn't exactly hidden in the anime. It just refuses to explain it. A lot like another prevalent character in this episode.
This is a spoiler given that Wilhelm is supposed to cover how the blessing works and who has it in the next 1 - 2 episodes. Also, triplets, they are triplets and not twins, and it seems they do take reduced damage given that they can take the burden off each other at will. For instance, Hetaro and Tivey are right now passed out taking the blunt of the wound right now because they want to help their sister.

When we first saw gluttony and greed, they introduced themselves as Lye and Regulus. This gluttony introduced themselve as Roy. The whole city has turned into a battlefield, so resource management, intel and unit condition take priority. Morale is probably one of the most important elements in this situation. Fortunately, Subaru, after all the crap he's been through has a higher tolerance to this sort of thing.
I also like how Ricardo, serves as a positive influence in the morale. he was quick to recognize that Garth's psyche is shaken and get him back into fighting condition. Back when they were about to hunt down the whale, he made sure the moods were high in the prelude.

The mystery is always there with all the questions we have: what will they use the witch remain for? why is there two gluttony? who are these two people we saw? what are these eggs? What is the identity of Sirius? etc. The psychological is maybe the less proeminent so far in this season with the power of Sirius making all people share their feelings and sensations, and Garfiel dilemna with his mother. The gore is already there with Sirius scenes in episode 2, Lye Batenkaitos scene in last episode, this episode there was what happened to the people in the Court Hall by Capella, but it was just sound, etc. The drama is also there for Garfiel with his mother and Mimi's situation, Reinhard/Heinkel/Wilhelm family situation.
Lust VA also did Tsuyu from MHA, Diane from 7DS, Tanya (the evil), Tamaki in Fire Force, Lumine in Genshin, Yuuki in SAO, Lucy in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Tatsumaki from OPM to list the famous ones, crazy range of voices to say

You missed a few details here in this episode. This Archbishop of Gluttony is not the same one that Rem and Otto encountered from before. In the last episode, we saw Capella as a human announcing on the speakers, so you can assume that she possesses the ability to transform herself. Lastly the name Typhon was dropped here, the anime introduced her last season, she is the witch of Pride, the lil girl that took off Subaru's arm and shattered him into a million pieces, until Minerva came and put him back together again

Roswall ,ram and Fredericka are back at the mansion, Betty is in a coma after using all her mana to heal Subaru and the people in the square(ep. 3), Puck broke her contract with Emilia and the original reason to travel here was for Emilia to get the magic crystal she needs to call him back.

Gluttony said his name was Roy Alphard. Every time Gluttony introduced himself so far he said his name was Lye Batenkaitos. He also talks about "us"
Aldebaran somehow knew some very specific info about Gluttony to say never say your real name around him.
Also the Witch stuff was insanely important but I dont think anyone spotted that detail..
In this world only Satella went down in history. The vast majority doesnt even know other Witches existed if they did not have a direct connection to them like Roswaal/Betty. This was hinted at multiple times so far.
So for Aldebaran to know of other Witches is fishy itself but knowing Typhons exact name and how she died is simply something he should not ever know
There was two cut content elements from season 2, that I wish the anime mentioned, that would make the theory crafting for anime-onlies so much more active. I was ecstatic when I saw this episode and realized some things. It was so rewarding to see some subtle implications and figure out things because of prior lore elements.
After a year of hellish training, Subaru is like top 5% humans of our world.
He really outdid himself and is still hella weak compared to whatever things live in the world of re zero, but at least he catched up a bit with his training and that's why he's more capable of things like the landing on the roof with Crusch.
Now that Luke has to wait like the rest of us, he's gonna turn into the sin archbishop of impatience.

Hey luke. I highly recommend you watch the break time re zero episodes as well. They are 3 minutes each and are supposed to be watched right after the weekly episode. They just dropped a MASSIVE lore drop in the latest one by context. Also you really need to watch videos discussing the cut content of s1,2,3 because they cut out a lot of scenes which provided a lot of context and world building and also cut a MASSIVE Bombshell from s1 since they didn't know if they will continue with the anime.

A few clarifications as best as I can explain them. I'm pretty sure without spoilers as I haven't read the LN or WN, I only know of some cut content.
Due to how the anime treats some of it's cut content, some of what's in the replies could be considered a spoiler only if the anime has more anime original moments. So if you don't want potential spoilers then look away from the replies.
The divine protection the triplets have makes them all share injuries, I'm assuming it makes each of them take reduced harm from injuries but it's shared by them all.
The gluttony we see at the end is not the same person that attacked Rem and was seen by Otto. There are at least 2 of them.
Also, the VA you seemed so excited about is in fact Aoi Yuuki.
I would say cut the part of Wilhelm out of your comment as it seems the anime will reveal it given Wilhelms reactions to it in this episode.
Also the divine protection allows them to share it by passing it over. Effectively spreading the damage. Since Mimi has the highest durability and stamina of the 3, she usually takes most of the damage from her two siblings onto herself. Which makes this situation even harder as the siblings are keeping her alive by taking the damage she took onto themselves.

Annoyingly it's info that is needed to fully understand what Wilhelm says when clashing with the cultists, and the fact he has his injury isn't exactly hidden in the anime. It just refuses to explain it. A lot like another prevalent character in this episode.
This is a spoiler given that Wilhelm is supposed to cover how the blessing works and who has it in the next 1 - 2 episodes.
Also, triplets, they are triplets and not twins, and it seems they do take reduced damage given that they can take the burden off each other at will.
For instance, Hetaro and Tivey are right now passed out taking the blunt of the wound right now because they want to help their sister.
