Morning Dazza yes another Lucy Thomas first thing in the AM, and Yes I have watched every one this past week as every one you have done of Lucy and really how can you stop at jut one week ??? She has so many great songs you haven't covered yet, some, really many left for the future. Lucy released this song on my birthday 2 years ago right after I discovered her and my Gawd this old man had to go take a cold shower !!!! She really rocked that song with a mature subject for being so young at the time. You have still a lot of her songs left just keep em coming, and thanks for all the reacts !!!
This is another example of where you feel she is singing it to the viewer, with a breathy kind of voice. It locks you in. Thanks for all the reactions, and my favorite was “All By Myself “.
As a fan of Adele i can say proudly that she is a world class artist multiple Grammy award winner , the phrase " made this your own " is never more appropriate than her cover , she performed it brilliantly .LUCY once again gave us her performance crystal clear and in her own style , a brilliant performance .

Lucy sings most genres so something for all and the main thing is we all enjoyed something. We all have our own preferences, so your list is your selection so cannot be wrong, and happy you enjoyed them all. I’ve loved every song but I love virtually all of Lucy’s songs, and I’m happy to listen Lucy sing anything. But good song choices, and it’s been a great long extended Lucy week. 👍👍👏 I think ‘Broken Dreams’ should have been in there, as that is her original song and a classic waiting to be heard. Dazza!!! Lucy is in a class of her own, out singing even the greats with her covers of some of the most challenging songs ever written. I hope you continue to feature Lucy. She is a powerful force that deserves all the recognition she gets.

I love all of her performances but the one that stands out for me is her cover of Etta James' "At Last". Would love to see your reaction to that one. Bob Dylan wrote the song and included it on his _Time Out of Mind_ album in 1997. He never released it as a single. However, the first released version of the song was Billy Joel's recording for his _Greatest Hits III_ album earlier in the same year, which was also released as a single. The Billy Joel version was a minor hit. In the US the first big hit version was from Garth Brooks. Then it hit again by Adele. It has been done by various other artists in the meantime. Besides Lucy's version I have also enjoyed country versions by Trisha Yearwood and Lindsay Ell.
