dosent look bad at all, but that stack should be maximum 20*20, like why someone should put this on a 5 inch anyway? a 5 icnh can carry a go pro or other action cam with no problem

Hmm, split vs. dual lens, something JB and Ciotti talked about on their stream just now. Dual lens seems like a better option to me.
Honestly don't know what to think!! you have one that say in the manual 7 to 25 V I have one that say really clearly 5 V..... any advice??

Image is almost the same. The main difference is the processing board is smaller now.

nice review. Image quality looks better than the tarsier by a long shot!! I cannot stand the fpv feed on caddx hd cameras. So much so that on my iflight cinebee i swapped it out for a micro split 3!
Hello, everyone. Please I need help. In my goggles, I am receiving an image with a lot of "V" on screen. Why my HawkEye Firefly 4K Split is sending these image? I have updated the firmware. My goggles are ev800d. Thanks for any help.
Looks great even the 1080p looks good. I don't really know if I'd pay $80 for it. The audio sounds pretty good, better than most.
I'm probably to brand loyal to run cam but I am still really happy to see other manufacturers coming out with better and better HD all in one cams like this, competition drives innovation and price so ita always a good thing for is the end user...

Image quality definitely is actually good. The audio isn't bad either except that it cracks randomly. I wish it was 20x20 and a little lighter.

This would be great for a FPV Wing. Wouldn't mind trying it out on my wing. Like the fact it will work off Li-Po voltage.
The camera seamed like the entire picture was in focus? when you had it on your table. Is this common? or something just with this camera? does it use a slandered 3 wire fpv transmitter?
160 degree DIAGONAL, that's how they get ya.
I bought that camera and when I re read the specs and found that subtlety I was not happy.
(but... this camera captures nice footage so I forgive)
I'm going to try this on a fixed wing. I think it will shine there.

Latency depends on the person. Some people won't notice it. I just happen to notice it on this one.

Allo Albert ,Thank You much for yet another to the point info vid , This cam kit has all i could need/use for my project ; e-bike rear view Cam+DVR . Q-> Any suggestion as to how i can have a reversed image ( mirror effect ) , Since it is with an micro HDMI output i could use that to wire up a small screen/monitor ,Thanks ; Reading comments on this review ,There are many who wright about latency ; To my understanding it is higher when using the VTX ? yes? and using the direct connection HDMI cable , Can that reduce latency as to make a rear view video feed usable / safe ?
I believe there is an option to flip the image in the settings but I don't remember exactly. I'm not 100% sure. Yes, the HDMI out can go to a monitor if you want to see the view of the camera.
Can you connect the Menue-Port at the Board to the FC CC-Pad and control the Menue via Transmitter?

Could I use this camera (setting up previously the recording setting) as an action camera inside a helmet?
Should be possible but you need to power it off a battery and of course mounting it will all have to be DIY custom build stuff.
I'm trying to decide if this would be good for my motorcycle helmet. Place the camera on the chin and hide the board just inside the chin part of the helmet. A gopro looks like a brick on the front of a helmet. Do you think it would be a good choice? How's image stabilization?
I'm not sure if you'll like it or not. Hard to say. I think the image stabilization is OK... not as good as GoPro.

Do you like the Firefly Split Albert? I'm having a hard time deciding between Runcam Split 3 mini and Foxeer Mix 2. Now I have a third option which is the Firefly Split camera.
The image is nicer but the latency makes it hard to fly.

Does the fpv signal come from the Hawkeye or is the transmitter a separate device?

Hello Albert, I have this camera. You know how to connect the "battery voltage measure" so that it marks the capacity of my battery in the image. In the manual does not explain it and do not find information about it. Cheers

Hi Albert, do you know if it will connect to OBS and record from there?
This outputs analog video that you could use for OBS. There is no digital output from this camera.

the tarsier is the one to go for
Gal Kremer did a side by side, on stock settings. Hawkeye had a few issues with wash out if the light got too bright. But the caddx tarsier had all kinds of problems with shadows, sunset and night recording. Hard to tell from one reviewers footage, but the Hawkeye definitely looked better in that one.
how do you eject the sd card or power off your quad without corrupting the last video?
this split is supposed to heal the last file by simply inserting it back and powering it on then ejecting after the first beep but that's not working
I stop the recording manually before I unplug. This seems to save the file.
