Why ask Naomi when she's not Australian. She's British! When her mother Miv wanted them to move to Australia, Naomi didn't want to because she loved her life in England. She grudgingly moved to Australia when she was 14, so she went through all her Primary education and half of her Secondary education in the UK. Her schooling in Australia was just 4 years! Then when she was 23 or so she moved to the US. She herself says she only has one passport: British and that she considers herself British. She also says that she spent in total 10 years in Australia, compared to her 14 years in Britain (from birth), but that she has spent even longer living in the US. She does have a strong bond with Australia though, having spent her teenage years there, but I wouldn't say she's somebody who knows all things Australia. I've also noticed that she puts more of an Australian accent when she is in the US and much less so when she is in the UK. BTW I'm not hating, just wondering why they keep asking her about Australia. Why not ask her about British things, or even American things, seeing that the country she's lived less in is Australia.

Watched the movie Painted Veil on telly tonight and searched her name on youtube. She still looks gorgeous!
As a kid in the 70's growing up in California we called flip flops thongs. I never heard the term flip flop til much later.
She actually sounds quite British now.... ahhhhn-sah instead of ann-sah. Definitely more of a posh british/aussie mix. Our zoos are the best and also we go there to see animals from the rest of the world, duh!
