too expensive for what it is.... no good for beginners because, well, you dont actually learn anything about scopes, optics, cameras, alignment etc.... and hell, its 5 grand. Id start out, for a beginner, with a 6 or 8in dobsonian and a planesphere.... thats if you really want to get into astronomy. for experienced.... hell you can get an edgehd with a cgx-l l mount and still have money for a good camera and eyepieces. with that mount, you could swap it out for a boatload of scope sizes and types. smart telescopes just arent versatile or upgradable.... and 5 grand for something that you cant upgrade... thats only a 4.5in aperture? No thanks
This telescope is meant for people who don't want to get into the nitty gritty you just described. A lot of people want to just see night sky objects without making it into a time consuming hobby.
I learned the hard way, got an eVscope 2 as my first scope, am selling it after 1 month. It doesn't allow me to do any of the work, it is all point and click, there is no star hopping, no effort at all, and all you end up with is a photo that you could just google anyway, everyone at the star parties I go to hyped up the evscopes but I just don't get it. Am looking for something that is more basic, old school, something I can actually slew around myself, any suggestions?
@@maheshprabhuthen just get one of the celestron nexstar scopes, those do the same thing without having the horrible optical quality and is an actually good telescope.
3537.94 $ for a Celestron CPC 800 GPS teleskop yet eVscope 2 is 4.899,00 $ USD How The Fuck is that a good deal ?? you can but a DLSR camera and a adapter for that price difference
I can’t imagine living a Day without this thing.
ace what have you seen?
I would say it's a nice telescope for beginners 🔭
thanks we will pass the message on!
A 5 grand telescope is for beginners?
@@Anurahm_Kycor good point.
Id go with a 6 or 8in dob for a beginner :)
For the price, you can buy far better telescopes, i.e., Meade being one.
@@Zero6BravoZ6B i have the Celestron Nexstar Evolution 9.25" which is pretty cool 🔭
That's A LOT of money for what it is.
it is but it wa great fun to use
Pretty pointless review. No examples of you actually using tbe thing and images yoy managed to get.
