The beauty of opr is there are some armies that are straight one to one for gw armies but you can also make your own armies and units. For example, an army of giant robots of some kind would be pretty cool.
@@worldofwargaming I'm looking forward to seeing them on the table! I have a lot of GW but I've also run an army from a dead game called Relic Knights and used some Warmahordes stuff, too. It's a really versatile system for getting toys on the table.
@@darkaiel very much agreed. I was actually recently gifted a LOT of warmahordes stuff that I had know idea what to do with until you mentioned that, so thank you! I played a game the other day with my US Airborne army from Bolt Action as a Human Defence Force. That felt REALLY good lol
OPR has a lot of folks blowing the dust off of their old armies, and getting them on the table. I am kind of wishing that I hadn't sold my old Dark Angels army. (I hadn't played it since 3rd edition, at the time.)
Unfortunate dice roll by the Avatar, BUT it does show the strength of the rules that the Avatar didn't just rampage through the whole army with nothing you could do about it --- something I've seen happen in "other rulesets."

They are really fun mostly simple systems. Thats a bummer about the DA, rivalry aside. I sell off plastic I dont use, but only if its not painted

I agree, it provides that slim shred of a prospect of hope that you might make it through.
Only thing I saw that you should know is that psychic spell need to be cast before attacking.
Awesome , thank you for letting me know, we will adjust in the future!
