I will have to have a day out on that nice we Boat. I have not been to Town in yeas. I worked there with McKirday and McMillan Rothsay as a mechanic. about 92 I think a long time ago. Time for a google earth trip round the Island. I got attached to the Island as a boy scout? And we camped there at Scalpsie Bay for two weeks in the Paisley fair.!. My Friend going back to about 1962 then Was Ian Mathieson we were the best of pals away back then. Well Folks Enjoy the Video of the boat trip I surely did. bye.
Used to go my holidays in the Paisley fair as well Tom a long time since I heard that Glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for the comment appreciated
The real test of a ship is in bad weather with the wind and rain and seeing how it functions, how it handles . Every one likes to walk the decks in harbor on sunny days but that's just a ship at rest , This is more typical.
This I went up to the Corrievrechan Whirlpool on Balmoral. I put these videos on as well, that was just as wild, so wild the camcorder was not up to the job of filming a lot of condensation got inside the lens, but put it out just so people can how wild a Cruise that was
Actually it hasn't. The video was made in Movie maker, a few years ago. I wouldn't even know if it had that function. also filmed on an old View Sonic 2d 3d camera with no stabilisation. Speeding that footage up would have killed it.

Poor weather and low passenger numbers were the end of Balmorals Scottish sailings.
