How do I do it so they arnt afraid of me I've been working with them and whistling to get them usto it but when I go into the loft they go crazy I'm a beginner. I got into homer pigeons
Whistle every time you feed them. Make sure they are hungry before you feed them. To tame the pigeons, it’s almost impossible unless you handle and ply with them daily. I have a video of how to tame your birds.
feeding 1 OZ per bird per day to keep them hungry, if your birds are not fly out. sitting on a 5 gallon bucket. sprinkle 1 OZ feed on the solid floor around your shoes and whistling. finished 1 OZ give them another 1OZ , let them know you are the boss. Stop feed them when you see 1st pigeon is going to drink water. put some peanuts in your hand is a good way too.
