Do kolekcji ProAc brakuje jeszcze jednego modelu. Mianowicie ProAc Response D40R. To kolumna grająca dźwiękiem precyzyjnym, z dużym rozmachem, konstrukcyjnie bardzo podobna do D48R, nieco mniejsza. W porównaniu do D48R ma bardziej skupiony dźwięk w zakresie średnich częstotliwości. Kolumny ProAc bardzo nie lubią stawiania na kolcach - polecam wibroizolatory IsoAcoustics Gaia. Również kolumny ProAc bardzo lubią podłączenia kabli głośnikowych w układzie single be wiring - szczególnie te modele z większą ilością głośników. Ogólnie: polecam te angielskie kolumny.

NOt sure that the volume was adjusted for speaker sensitivity here as the poor old D20R's were much quieter at 88.5 db and the others at 90.

Indeed! The most balanced and subtle sounding of the 4 models is the D30RS. The sound also comes more loose from the speakers compared to the others.

Will there be any improvement if I replace the Tannoy XT8f with a ProAc DT8? The amplifier is a Denon PMA 2500NE.

Компания занижает низкие частоты в своих характеристиках. Никогда 16 см басовик не будет выдавать 35 -40 гц. Это муляжная частота.не естественная. 40гц вы чувствует её телом не говоря о 30 герцах .А 20 чистых герц играют единицы аудиосистем Это тоже самое заставить скрипку играть как контрабас.
