Absolutely amazing. I can understand Sylvian may not be everyone's taste in music but to us lucky enough to recognize his incredible and unappreciated genius we are lucky to have his talent available to us. I just cannot get this song out of my mind....
I can't beleive that no-one has commented on this, this has to be one of the best performances of one of the best songs by one of the best artists ever.... 10/10 thanks for the upload
I can’t help thinking of my brother in law when I hear this song... I secretly seen him walking alone from the park with the kids..one on his shoulders and one in his arms without his wife... he was not perfect, but a very good provider... and the wife was holding on for dear life until something better came along.
I've been a fan and follower since the early Japan days but never ever heard or saw this. So much thanks for the poster and what an unbelievable piece of music!! Thanks!!
Is that bit of dialogue from the movie "Little Women" ... ? Oh, from Samuel Beckett , 'Eh, Joe?' "I was strong myself when I started .... In on you .... Wasn't I, Joe? ... Normal strength .... [...] The whisper in your head .... Me whispering at you in your head .... ” 49 She implies that Joe's life's end cannot be far ahead as his heart is failing: “ Or is the heart already? ... Crumbles when you lie down in the dark .... Dry rotten at last .... Eh Joe?

Indeed!!!
Brilliant!
This is right up there with the best of his work. Deeply powerful.

Outstanding.
This has never been released, due to sample copyright and the sensitive nature of the lyrics about his bitter divorce . Best Sylvian song ever 10/10.
I agree whole heartedly, best by a mile and unseen by so many..... their loss
It's the copyright. Lyrics about his divorce are all over Blemish.
@@sadderthanyou7793 What is the sample? Beckett?
@@markkeogh18 Yes, the Samuel Beckett TV play “Eh Joe.” Has the lines “I was strong myself when I started...wasn’t I, Joe?”
best gems are underground.
This is just for us. It's personal. It's thinking time
ive got you pictured in my mind love.... your off the bus and running free ..... i'll keep the memories and the pretence
'And sometimes life is frightning
And everything comes on strong
So we're holding on for dear life
Till something better comes along !'

Why is there so little known about how he makes his music. I'm a muscisian and I'm keen on learning more about his music.
Simple answer: Average I.Q. Levels are plummeting... World is going through a phase called “reversion to the mean” and is accelerating.
@@dbdeluxe That is factual not true.
Does anybody know:
Is this song ever been recorded on a CD. ?
(I know it's on a DVD: Japan / tokyo)
