Really impressed how composed Malykhin is. He is extremely explosive and powerful but stayed very relaxed and didn’t gas out despite not going many rounds in his fights normally. He stacks up really well with any heavyweight in any promotion

I’ve never seen Bhullar fight before and legit thought his strategy is to gas out his opponent during the first two rounds then go on a grabbling rampage from round 3 onwards.

This is embarassing. Why is Bhullar so gun shy? He could have thrown more jabs which was landing at the begining. That could have made it more competitive instead of being a punching bag for Malykhin. All props to Malykhin for his crisp boxing and his great cardio.

Arjan had no shot fighting on their feet, why didn't he even try to take the fight to the ground early in the fight?... horrible gameplan
anatoly has great takedown defense both against lower body takedowns and upper body trips and throws. If antoly could stuff RDR's attempts it's not very wild to imagine that he'd stuff arjan. I think arjan's afraid that a faield takedown will lead to a sprawl into a turtle and he's not confident on his odds turtling vs malykhin. You don't really have a blueprint to beat malykhin either since he's never lost. I've always thought that someone of that level and pace should have cardio problems later on but we've never seen anyone really take him to deep waters. any heavyweight fighting malykhin next can either seek to win points via cage control and knees to the body (like dj vs moraes 3, or usman vs masvidal 1) or they have to be REALLY GOOD at submission and GnP defense. I'm not seeing anyone among the ONE ranks to do the 1st option outside of Kang Ji Won who's a bit chinny and not strong on grappling. The 2nd option is possible for Buchecha. Oumar Kane is another threat but unless he gets a haymaker in Malykhin boxes circles around them.

I had Malykhin winning the fight but I did not expect it to be one sided from start to finish. Great job for Malykhin, he was prepared and he wanted to finish the fight. I thought Bullar would at least pose some kind of risk but his game plan was really just to get hit and wait to get finished. He moves away only to stay in a corner for a beating. He is moving backwards yet he does not throw jabs, or leg kicks, or anything. His attempts to wrestle and grapple are weak.

I don't know if the Lumpinee stadium can have a cage. Management might refuse to have one. If the ring sits on a concrete non-removable elevated base, there may be no way to mount the cage to begin with.
